Riverdale Homecoming (Riverdale/Spider-Man Story)-Finished

Chapter 30

Peter ran into the forest and found out that Midge and Moose were on a date in the woods and they said the blackhood had shot them. Moose has protected midge and was the only one who was hurt. Peter rushed him to the doctor then went back to the wood where Betty was.

He looked around in the area he had left her. She was sitting down on the ground leaning against a trash can. She held Peters backpack tight in her arms. She had fallen asleep.

Peter squatted down in front of her and picked her up. He took her home and put her in bed. He quickly wrote a note to her and put it on her bedside table.  He went back home and went to bed.

Betty woke up in the morning from the sun blinding her. She groaned thinking she forgot to close her blinds last night. She also noticed her window wasn't fully closed.

She looked at her phone that was on her bedside table. She saw the note and read it.

Betty couldn't help but smile while she read the cute note. She put the note in her drawer and then changed. She went downstairs and saw her mom holding a paper and crying

"Mom what's wrong?!"-B

Alice tried to get herself together but she couldn't so she just handed the paper to Betty.

Betty read it. The letter was from the black hood who was taking responsibility for everyone that has gotten hurt recently.

Betty looked up at Alice after reading the note. "He knows where we live Betty.."-A "Can I keep this?"-B "I-I guess..I don't know why you would want it though.."-A

Betty ran up to her room. She closed the door. She looked out her window but Peters window was closed and the blinds were also closed which means he's probably still asleep.

She bit her lip and put the letter on her bed. Betty sighed. She got her jacket and went to Archie's house.

But no one answered. She knew he was home though. Fred had work and there were lights on all over the house. She went back home. "I don't know what to.."-B "About the blackhood?"-A "Yeah."-B "That's alright you're just a kid. Leave it to the professionals, they'll figure it out"-A

Betty wanted to say "But how much have the professionals done? Nothing" but she didn't.

She went in her room, her mind blank, she had no idea what to do.

There was news going around that Archie had made a group to help defend the black hood. Betty wanted to see what all the fuss was about so she went to the video on YouTube.

The video was really bad but Betty didn't want to worry about that.

She looked at the letter again and wondered why that psycho sent it in the first place? How did he know where the coopers lived? What was the reasoning behind the letter?

All these questions and more took over her thoughts. She couldn't help but lay down and just stare at the letter trying to figure out her questions but it was no use she had no idea what she was doing.
