Chapter 21

Betty opened the door and Veronica was there. "Hey Ar- Betty?!"-V "Uh hi"-B

Veronica looked Betty up and down. "Why's are you here, at Archie's house"-V "Wow I'm at Archie's house I thought I was at mine!"-B "Ha ha so funny. Why are you here"-V "Well I was at the diner with Peter. Archie was there too, with his dad. A masked man came in and shot Fred-"-B

"Just get to the point"-V "I am.. chill. So anyways. Archie drove his dad to the hospital and Archie was all bloody so he came here to wash up and I came with him since he was a little on edge"-B Veronica sighed

"Where is he?"-V "Shower"-B

Veronica walked in and went upstairs.
Betty yelled up "I'm gonna go back to the hospital with peter! You take care of Archie"-B

She walked out and drove back to the hospital. She walked where Peter was waiting with Ned "Hi Ned"-B "Hey Betty"-N "I called Ned to keep me company. Where's Archie?"-P "Veronica stopped by. I told her to look after him"-B

Betty leaned over and kissed Peters head.

She walked to the bathroom and put her hair back up. Betty called a bunch of Archie's friends for emotional support when he gets back.

She went back to where the boys were "I just called a bunch of Archie's friends, they should be here soon"-B "Nice"-N

Peter kept looking at Betty in a lovey-dovey sorta way. "What?"-B "Huh- nothing"-P "O..Kay"-B

She walked over to one of the doctors to ask him questions.

"Dude so get this"-P "We were having a breakfast date and before the masked guy, who shot Fred, came in.. well.. Betty said I love.. and I was thinking she was going to say all three words.. but she didn't"-P "Wow dude.. Saying all three words is like aquivlent to marriage"-N "Yeah basically."-P "But knowing her she'll completely forget she had said that and try and figure out who the masked dude is."-N

The thing that peter and Ned didn't know is that, that was the only thing betty was thinking about.

Everyone had come in less then an hour. Everyone was hungry so Betty had gotten Pops.

Everyone ate and chat. Betty sat next to peter, she didn't want to eat because she had a sick feeling.

Betty held her stomach. "You ok"-P "I don't feel too good"-B "Do you want me to drive you home?"-P

She shook her head no. Peter put his arm around her and pulled her closer. He kissed her head. "Did Archie ever get back?"-B "Actually.. no"-P "Hes probably just upset.."-P

Betty sighed. She sat up "My mom.. That's my mom.."-B she said referring to the person walking towards their area.

Betty stood up and walked towards her mom. She crossed her arms. "What do you think you're doing here?!"-A "Uh- Wha-"-B "You're supporting this-this adulterer"-A "Adulterer?"-B "Yes this- this sinner!"-A "Sinner... Adulterer.."-B "Yes! He had an affair with Hermonie Lodge when they were both in relationships"-A "Whatever mom. Can you go I have things to do"-B
