Will and Tessa

Chapter 4

In the distance he could see a small figure lurking behind a bin. He go out his seraph blade and whispered to it "Ithuriel", thinking of Tessa. The blade suddenly lit up the alleyway, revealing the demon, a Ravener as Lucie had said. Slowly James and Lucie also got out their seraph blades and whispered "Nakir" and "(find Angel name)" so that their blades light up too. Dagger in one hand, Seraph blade in the other, Will flung the dagger out at the Ravener's head, a direct hit. Will had planned to find a demon, fight it till it was too weak to move and then allow James and Lucie to deliver the killing blows with their seraph blades. This plan was working, so far. Then suddenly the Ravener shrieked and shot out a tentacle at Lucie. To Will's surprise just as he was about to jump in front of her, she calmly and without flinching sliced off the tentacle in one clean move. Will couldn't help but grin in pride. He turned his attention back onto the Ravener. He flung another dagger at its head and it screeched in pain. It then shot out a tentacle to James who was watching Will get out another weapon. Just at the last second Will flung himself in front of James and got bitten in the neck. James and Lucie realising what just happened charged towards the demon and stabbed it in the heart with their seraph blades. The Ravener screamed as it crumpled helplessly into itself and it was transported back to wherever it came from. Will sank to the floor, hands clutching his burning neck. James and Lucie ran over to him, helping him up. Without a word they quickly took him home.
