Will and Tessa

Chapter 3

"Come on kids, now remember all that we've learnt in training. We look for the signs that a demon has made to look for the demon" said Will, looking around the empty streets. He kept the kids close by him, he knew Tessa worried and wanted to make sure they would return home unharmed. "Look over there dad, there's a three clawed footprint! That has to be a demon." Said James, eager to fight a demon. "Good work James, let's go have a look. Stay close to me" said Will, walking up to the footprints. Together they examined the footprints carefully and silently, thinking about what demon it could belong to. Finally Lucie broke the silence "it looks like Ravener tracks, should we follow them?". "You right Lucie these are Ravener tracks, good girl! Yes we should follow them, but slowly and carefully" replied Will, he was proud of his kids able to recognise demon tracks. He grinned as they slowly followed the tracks that led them into an alleyway. Before entering the alleyway, Will turned round and whispered to them "I'll go down first and you stay behind me, okay?". "Yes dad" they replied quietly. Will carefully followed he tracks down the alleyway, James and Lucie behind him.
