Betrayal, hurt, sorrow. Everyone goes through their own shit. Archie and Ms. Grundy. Betty and her mom. The whole Jason Blossom case. For the past few days Sheriff Keller has been talking to basically everyone in town. Clawing for any information he could get. When he came to our door he was upset he had nothing. Now Jughead and the Twilight Drive-in. He was so upset when he found out that the place he worked at was closing and going to be demolished.

Betty, Jughead, Veronica, Kevin and I sat in a booth at Pop's listening to Jughead's soliloquy, "The Drive-In closing is just one more nail in the coffin that is Riverdale. No, forget Riverdale, in the coffin of the American dream," I sat at the end with Betty between me and Jug, Veronica and Kevin sat across from us, "As The Godfather of indie cinema, Quentin Tarantino, likes to say-"

"NO!" I groaned and Kevin agreed, "Not another Quentin Tarantino reference please!"

"What? I'm pissed!"

I turned my head, "Really Jug? I hadn't noticed."

"Not just about losing my job! The Twilight Drive-In should mean something to us. People should be trying to save it."

Veronica leaned in, "In this age of Netflix and VOD, do people really want to watch a movie in a car? I mean who even goes there?"

"People who want to buy crack," Kevin answered her completely serious.

"And cinephiles!" Jughead retorted.

I shrugged, "I always like the aesthetic not gonna lie."

"Bets?" Jughead looked next to him for her help.

She blinked back to reality at the mention of her name, she was clearly not paying any attention, "Totally."

Jughead shook his head annoyed, "Anyway, it's closing because the town owns it, but didn't invest in it. So when an anonymous buyer made Mayor McCoy an offer she couldn't refuse..."

"Anonymous buyer?" Veronica and I asked in unison before she continued, "What do they have to hide?" she chuckled, "No one cares.

I pointed, "Apparently not no one."

He nodded, "Also, you guys should all come to closing night. I'm thinking, American Graffiti... or is that too obvious?"

"I vote for anything starring Audrey Hepburn," Veronica smiled, "Or Cate Blanchett!"

"Or The Talented Mr. Rippley!" Kevin nodded before pointing, "Tori?"

"Footloose!" I joked gaining some laughter, "You're turn Betty."

She blinked back, "Everything okay B?" Veronica asked worried.

She nodded, "Yeah, I'm just thinking...Um...Maybe Rebel Without a Cause?

I nodded furiously, "Yes!" Just as Tía put our food on the table.

"Here you go kids," she smiled at us.

"Thanks Mama-" "Thank you Tía!" Veronica and I looked up at her.

She walked away and over to Cheryl's table where I saw her saw a snarky comment about "All Lodges have sticky fingers"

Veronica and I got up and stood behind Tía protectively, "Cheryl..." Veronica started scowling while I crossed my arms over my chest.

Tía put her hand up stopping us, "I got this girls," she stood up straighter looking down at the red-head, "Cheryl, I went to school with your mother. She didn't know the difference between having money and class either," and with that she walked away with their check.
