Part 8: Staten Island Battle of the Bands (Part 1)

Leona Kenobi's Point of View:

Glad that fiasco is over. Man, ever since I met Matt, I felt I had someone else to look to if something bad happens to me... I mean he helped to rescued me from thugs in the Bronx borough of New York. When we landed on Staten Island, We stopped at the local big Waterstones bookstore, and as Matt promised, he bought an new set of Lord of the Rings, and he got me the Harry Potter, plus a copy of star wars visual dictionary novels for me, and as a bonus, as I loved to draw, he stops by a local arts and crafts store, and bought some new sketchbooks and pencils and, he returns and handed them to me, I say to Matt, "Thank you Matt... I appreciate what you did for me." Matt replies, "you're very welcome, Leona, I saw your art folders, I'd like to see some of your work when you... Get some time off."

Kylo Ren's Point of View:

New York is so big, Leona wishes to explore the island of Staten Island NY, but I have keep her safe in case, of another attack. Crime rates here are incredibly high here. She told us last night on the Tour bus, that she knows some badass wrestling moves which totally is so cool and awesome. So she's equipped with a skill in case she gets hurt... She told me a WWE superstar friend of hers lives here in Staten Island. She told me that her name was Carmella.... She taught her to trash talk, so that will come in handy at some point.

Leona goes to take a walk around a part of Staten Island, she bought, wait, dog food? Why? I watched her, and she got a dog bowl, and a young Husky puppy snuggles into her, aw, she's a dog person I think... So that's why she got a dog bowl and food for this moment. I snapped the picture to show my brothers, Matt and Ben, of her feeding the homeless puppy, from what I saw, we should find her and the Husky puppy, and allow her to keep it... I got the video and a photo of her being licked and loved by the puppy. "Where's Leona?" Ben asked and I showed him the video of Leona playing with the puppy, feeding it. We don't know the gender of the dog, so we'll ask Matt or a vet to confirm the sex of the puppy. "Awww, isn't that adorable... A puppy in the street has befriended Leona!" Matt cries because of the cuteness overload he gets. Ben replies, "asides from us, a four legged friend is good for her as well."

Matt Solo's Point of View:

After that display or animal affection, the puppy followed Leona back to the Tour bus, it's breed is a Siberian Husky. Gorgeous big dog if I say so myself. Right now, I felt sorry for the puppy, it's mother rejected it... Poor thing... Leona is so kind to the puppy, she bought back the dog bowl... When she met with the puppy, she cried because the mother didn't want the cute little pup, how can it's mother reject this beautiful puppy, that's beyond me... I looked at the puppy, looked it over, and determined the dogs gender, the puppy is male, so I tell my brothers and Leona, "we've got a male Husky puppy here, and Leona rescued him... So she gets to keep him... She's needing to name him now."

I have the puppy some love. Kylo was wary at first, but, the husky puppy showed him the puppy eyes and that broke him and he gently cuddles the puppy. Leona says, "as a fan of The Lord of the Rings, I will name the puppy Aragorn." The puppy hears his name, and he barks to tell her that he likes the name

Time skip, the Thompson Stadium

Ben Solo's Point of View:

We reach the stadium in time, but there is a band already playing there, an up-and-coming pop band called The Rebels are playing there already. So we went in, and the singer of the pip band bumps into Leona, running to get a prop for one of their numbers....

Rey's Point of View:

Another band is on my turf? This I gotta see who they are... Rumors have it, the band's called The Knights of Ren... I went to get a prop for the next song I have to sing... I wasn't watching where I was going, and I knocked a woman over. Wait, it's the said band. And they have a girl with them. And I knocked her down by accident. "Sorry, excuse me, would you mind watching where you are going next time, please?" She asked me with confidence and dignified humility. Her bandmates saw she's polite too. "I'm so sorry for doing that to you, here, let me help you up." I reach my hands out and she took them and I pulled her off the floor. Finn noticed the girl who was with the Knights of Ren. He recognised her because he was scoping out the band online for us to have some competition. He showed me one of her solo performances in New York City the other night. She sang the Evanescence song that night....

Finn's Point of View:

I knew I recognize that woman who Rey had accidentally knocked down, and it was a Leona Kenobi. She's a beautiful girl... I know Adam Driver, I think he could be in love with her... She's pretty.

Poe Dameron's Point of View:

We certainly could use a bit of competition so this band are our polar opposite. They're angsty metal, we're happy-go-lucky upbeat pop, and I think this could be a contest for the ages. Uh oh, the male singer just got provoked by Rey, but he's unphased. He kept his cool. Rose slapped Leona, but before that slap made contact with Leona's face, Leona counters Rose, and pushed her off. Finn tried to punch Leona, but, she also countered that with pushing him away. "How'd you do that?" Kylo asked and he remembers that she told him and his brothers about her ability to wrestle.

Leona goes onstage. Looks like she making an announcement.

Leona Kenobi's Point of View:

The nerve of The Rebels! They've got some nerves to provoke my band! Well, two bands can play at that game! I grabbed a set up microphone and I say, "who's up for a band rivalry? The Rebels have provoked The Knights of Ren tonight, it's time we teach them a lesson. The Rebels, we're callin' you out for a battle of the bands! Best of 3 songs it's time for a sing off!" The crowds of Staten Island went nuts, and they cheered. Metal band Vs Pop band, to the musical death. Best of 3 battles. First in Staten Island, round 2 in Detroit, Michigan's motor City stadium, and round 3 in our home turf, New York City.
