Patton sat the plate of lasagna down in front of Virgil, a smile on his face. Virgil smiled back up at him, setting his phone down.
"Thanks Pat, it looks great!" Virgil said, reaching up to fluff Patton's curls. Patton giggled, he loved it when the other sides gave him the slightest bit of attention.

"Well, you're welcome Virgie! Logan, this is yours." Patton replied, spinning over to Logan's seat and handing him his plate.

"Thank you Patton. It looks appetizing."Logan told Patton, his face full of content. Patton smiled wider. Logan almost never looked this calm. Virgil looked towards Roman's seat with irritation filling his eyes.

"Is Princey coming to dinner tonight? It's pasta night." Virgil asked Patton, taking a bite of his lasagna afterwords. Anguish crossed Patton's eyes before he answered.

"I think he's eating in his room again kiddo, but maybe tomorrow." Patton answered. A sigh could be heard from Logan as Patton sat down across from Virgil. Logan reached over to Patton's hand and squeezed it.

"He'll come around Patton." Logan told him, a calming look in his deep brown eyes. Patton nodded, squeezing Logan's hand back.  "Until then, how has your day been Virgil?" Logan continued, letting go of Patton's hand so he could eat.

"Not bad surprisingly, I got to get a lot of things done in the control room, including answering a lot of comments from the fanders." Virgil always was the one answering the comments because he was worried Thomas might offend someone. (Though Thomas could never) Patton zoned out, slowly eating his food. His mind wandered to random things. Puppies, past videos, cookies, anything that crossed his mind. As Patton was thinking of different animals, a picture of Roman flashed through his mind. Patton frowned, Roman was different now than he used to be, ever since the incident. If only Patton could have helped Roman.

"Patton!" A voice knocked Patton out of his trance, its was Virgil's voice. Patton looked up at Virgil, who was standing above him. Logan was in the kitchen washing the dishes and it seemed as if dinner was over.

"I asked you if you were done Pat, I want to take your plate in." Virgil told Patton. Patton pushed his plate towards Virgil's hand.

"Thanks kiddo, I was just thinking." Patton said, standing up. "I'm going to head to my room for the night." Virgil took Patton's plate and walked towards the kitchen.

" 'kay, just don't stay up too long." Virgil replied, handing Logan Patton's plate. Logan turned towards the hallway.

"Goodnight Patton." Logan said. Patton waved, a smile on his face.

"Night Lo!" Patton replied, walking towards his room.  He noticed his door was open a bit, although he had closed it earlier on in the night. He heard soft ukulele playing from inside his room. Patton smiled, knowing who was in his room. He padded towards his door, before stopping and knocking softly. He heard a small gasp before a small, "come in Pat." Patton smiled and slipped into his room, smiling bigger when he saw Roman sitting on his bed, ukulele in hand and photo albums laid across the bed.

"I knew you'd be the one in here, I heard the ukulele." Patton said as he sat down next to Roman. Roman looked away, an embarrassed blush on his cheeks. He set the ukulele down, and started to stand up.

"I'm sorry for coming in here without permission Pat, I should be going." He said, starting to walk out of his room. Patton reached out and grabbed his arm.

"Don't go Roman, please. If you need to talk, you know I'm here." Patton said, care filling his voice. Roman hesitated, before turning around.

"Thanks for the offer Pat, but I can handle this on my own." He said, before tossing Patton's hand off of his arm. Roman walked out of Patton room, heading briskly to his own. Patton heard Roman's door shut, before soft sobbing began. Patton sat down on his bed, defeated. He couldnt help Roman, not now, not before, not ever.

OKIE DOKIE! Hi, readers of my trash! I has returned! This is just a random book idea I came up with one day and was writing in a notebook before I was given my laptop back, so now that I'm ungrounded, I will be updating both books more frequently!
