John's pov:
"Patterson!" Luke interrupted with a fake smile. Evan gave a hesitant nod and talked with the others.
"Too close, Evan is a Fong, he is here to stop us!" I whispered. Luke nodded and looked at Evan. I saw him and Tyler looking at us.
"Do you think Tyler is with Evan on their mission?" Luke asked. I nodded my head slightly and turned away from them.
The bell rang and I went to my locker. I got my stuff and closed my locker. A hand was roughly placed on my shoulder and I was slammed into my locker. I grunted and looked up.
"Hey freak, ready to get the shit beat out of you?" Matthew smirked. I rolled my eyes and his hand slammed down on my things making them fall. I looked at everyone in the distance and saw Luke with an angry expression.
"Well I kicked your ass yesterday and I can do it again." I giggled. He snarled and pulled me towards him but then pushed me into the locker again.
Kill him, he doesn't deserve to live after laying a hand on you!
Nope.
Matthew grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled his fist back. I smirked and kicked his knee sideways so he fell. I smashed his head into my knee and he fell on his back. His nose was already bleeding. Two other people, the ones from yesterday, grabbed my arms and I struggled. Matthew got up and wiped the blood off his nose.
"Big mistake." He growled. His fist connected with my cheek, then stomach, and my chin. Both boys let me fall to the ground. He punched me more and I had to admit he had muscles. I burst out laughing and acted to weakly stand up. I spit the blood out of my mouth and split it at Matthew's face.
"I'm not that weak." I smirked. I saw Evan and the others watching. They couldn't help because they would be targets too. I punched Matthew in the nose and elbowed the other two.
I took no time to slide through his legs and kick is private part. His hands immediately went there for cover. He turned around and threw a punch. I ducked under it and elbowed his jaw. The teachers separated us and Matthew was furious.
"Its that dude's fault!" He sneered. Luke, Evan, and the others stepped forward with their arms crossed.
"Matthew shoved John against the lockers and started the fight. John was simply using self defence." Luke explained in a polite voice. I have him a wink and he rolled his eyes with a smile.
"So if I ask everyone around here they would say what you just said?" Our English teacher, Mrs. Johnson, asked narrowing her eyes.
"Yes. Raise your hand if what Luke said was true!" Brock shouted. A lot of hands shot up into the air. Only ones that didn't were a few girls and Matthew's goons.
I gave Matthew a smirk as he entered the office along with his other friends. The principal looked very mad as he yelled. I watched form the window as he pointed out to our fighting area and then pointed a finger at him.
"Lets go John." Luke growled. I started to giggle and my friend group rolled their eyes with a smirk. I got to my things off the floor and headed for first period. My face was still messed up but no one could see because of my mask.
The class had all eyes glued on me. Just what I didn't want. This was stupid. I made scenes though the past two days and the principal may feel bad for me or something but it will be harder to gain his trust.
Give him a gift for his troubles.
Smart but what?
Some chocolate or a new tie. Whatever principal's like.
Ill think on it now I need to focus.
I sat in the back of the class where Luke was located. He looked tense and alert. He patted his pocket. Our dad called for a report. Luke didn't have anything to say. I grabbed my phone and texted him.
(D:dad j:John)
D: report.
J: can't in class, do it after school.
D: fine.
I rolled my eyes and put my phone in my pocket. The science teacher walked in looking at me for some reason. I felt like all of them were. She started the class with boring stuff I already knew so I didn't really have to pay attention.
Next class:
I walked in with Evan but we had the same class as Matthew. I didn't really care but Evan did. We sat in the back with the others and started to talk about random stuff until our social studies teacher walked in.
Time skip to after school:
I walked out of the school with Luke. It was a boring day of homework, writing done things, and getting in fights with people. Even though I love fighting it was a bad time to do so. Luke didn't seem to happy either.
"I have a plan. To gain for of the principal's trust we can make a gift. Have some chocolate and ties the typical adult gift." I explained. Luke's eyes were drilled straight ahead without a word from his mouth. I took a gulp and did the same. I knew him forever and when he was stiff and silent it wasn't very good. He was passed and won't say a word till he snaps. I speak from experience.
"John that's a good idea...but you can't keep getting into fights. I know you love to but still dude come on." Luke ran a hand through his reddish orange hair and sighed.
We got home and Lila had her arms crossed and she eyes squinting at us.
"What do you not understand about earning the principal's trust! Jonathan you need to stay out of trouble or I'll have you out of this mission!" She yelled. Almost sounding like a mother. Anger boiled in my veins and I glared at her.
"Do you think it's my fault I keep getting beat on? I'm using self defence and I had a plan to gain his trust. Listen lady. I don't care if you are our fake mom for this mission but your not gonna act or speak like one. Now leave me the hell alone before I make your whole life out of this mission." I growled. My voice sounded like ice and the mask helped the fear grow. She gulped and took another step back and walked to the kitchen in a clumsy run.
"Stupid adults." Luke and other said in unison. We burster into fists of giggles and sat in the living room that had our plan set up at.
