Finns pov :
Rachel came in with a hot cup of tea and set it on the table for me . I couldn't help but stare at the engagement ring on her finger . I always knew one day she get engaged I just didn't think it would affect me this much . I kept starring at her ring and then finally she said ,
"Finn."
I looked up and said ,
"Yeah?"
"Are you okay ? You keep starring at my ring." She said
"Sorry , I guess I'm just in shock ya know ?" I asked her
"I'm sorry , I know I kind of sprung this on you and you've been through so much I just didn't think there ever be a good time to tell you about it ." She told me feeling guilty
"No , I get it . You moved on and you have every right to deserve to be happy , but what about that night after the funeral ..."
"It was a mistake Finn. I'm engaged now and I can't ... I love Sam is the point and it was a one time thing ." She said
"Rachel..." I said and paused . I could tell she wanted to move on from it that she was feeling guilty for it in the first place .
"Consider it forgotten ." I told her
She looked at me and said ,
"I'm sorry I was gone for so long , I'm sorry I never called ."
"It's okay ." I said and gave her a hug
"So..." she said awkwardly
"So... tell me about Sam." I said smiling through the pain .
