She Needs Us

Chapter 23
Finns pov :
I was on my way back to Rachel's hospital room coming back from the cafeteria when suddenly I saw Sam coming at me and tackling me to the ground .

"What the hell man !" I yelled and he clocked me in the face

I hit him back and then suddenly we began to fight but then I heard Rachel yell in pain .

"Get off of me !" And I pushed him off and ran to Rachel's hospital room .

I went to her room and Sam followed me . I saw Rachel on the floor and ran to her aid .

"Nurse!" Sam yelled and the nurse ran in .

"Ahhhhhhhh!!!" Rachel yelled curled up holding her stomach .

"Rachel ! It's okay look at me ." I said

"I'm bleeding ! Finn I'm having a miscarriage." She said scared

"It's okay Rachel lets get you into the bed ." The nurse said .

We lifted her up gently and put her on the bed . The nurse gave her an oxygen mask and the ultrasound tech came in .

"Okay Rachel , lets take a look ." The nurse said holding her hand .

The screen popped up and there was moment of silence and then suddenly I heard the most beautiful sound in the world, our babies heartbeat . Rachel began to cry and I held her hand and kissed her forehead .

"See Rachel , no need to stress , your baby is just fine ." The nurse said

She nodded and stopped crying and just looked at the monitor .

(Later on)
I was coming out of Rachel's room when I saw Sam sitting there .

"Hey man ." I said

"Hey." He said with an attitude

I sat down beside him and said ,

"Look man , I know you're pissed . I know you hate me and you have every right to but , Rachel she's the best person I know . She never wanted to hurt you intentionally because she loves you , and I know it not my place to say this but , she needs you more than ever now . She needs us both , so as much as you hate me can't you just put that aside and be there for her?"

He looked at me and said ,

"She's pregnant with your kid Finn . Your kid ! She cheated on me with you , and you expect me to pretend everything's okay ? I love her but this is just too much ." He said

"I know , I know we fucked up, I fucked up big time Sam . I'm sorry , I know I can't change what happened . But, Rachel needs us more than ever , she's scared and she feels alone and she needs her fiancé , she needs you . Look , you don't have to like me , I don't expect that from you . but right now , Rachel is in that room longing for you ." I said and left
