Part 7: Geysers , Flowers, and Witch Powers

"Where are we now?" Cassafras asked Seashell. "I don't really know. I have never gotten this far away from my kingdom." Seashell said. "The Wizard's castle can't be that far away." Izzy said. "I wonder how long we have been walking." Cassafras said. "About a month I would say. So Izzy has been walking for over a month." Daisy said.

"My feet hurt." Izzy said. "Well, my hooves hurt." Cassafras said. "My wings hurt." Daisy said. "Then we will take a small break. We should look for some food anyway." Seashell said. Everyone sat down for a bit before standing to look for food. "We will go in groups of two. Mimi and Cassafras, Daisy and Seashell, and Sammie and I." Izzy said. Once everyone was in their groups they went off I search of food.

"I casted a spell on some dead flowers hoping Daisy would try to heal them." Zarina said as she watched Daisy and Seashell getting closer to the flower patch. "What if she doesn't try to heal them?" Carmi asked. "Oh believe me. She will because their her favorite flower." Zarina said. "Oh." Carmi said. "Am I super smart or am I a genius." Zarina said with a laugh. "Wait, did you actually want an answer?" Carmi asked interrupting Zarina's moment of glory. "NO! Just go bring me a piece of cake!"

"Awww. Look at these dead flowers. How sad." Daisy said. "We're supposed to be looking for food, and unless that flower is edible, we have no use for it." Seashell said to Daisy. "Can I please just heal them?" Daisy asked with begging look on her face. "Fine, but make it quick." Seashell said.

"Are you doing okay up there Mimi?" Cassafras asked Mimi who was sitting on Cassafras back. "Yeah. Thanks for carrying me around." Mimi said. "No problem, just look out for any thing we can collect." Cassafras said.

"Wow nice job Sammie, you are quite the scavenger." Izzy said to Sammie as they looked down at there pile. "I just go with the flow, and flow took me to the food." Sammie said. Suddenly there was an ear splitting squeal. "Any chance the flow can lead us to where that scream came from." Izzy said. "I don't know but it sounded like Daisy." Sammie said. They ran back onto the path.

Izzy and Sammie almost bumped into Seashell as they were running. "Daisy! I don't what happened!" Seashell said obviously freaking out. The bad thing about freaking out is; if one person is freaking out than it is the other people's instinct to freak out also. "Daisy went to heal a flower and then I heard her scream." Seashell said. "Me and Sammie heard her scream." Izzy said. "Now she is like paralyzed." Seashell said as she held Daisy I her hands. "I think she will be fine." Izzy said. Cassafras ran up to them Mimi on her back. They both looked worried.

"What happened!" Cassafras said. "Daisy has become paralyzed." Izzy said. "How did this happen?" Mimi asked. "It happened after she healed some flowers." Seashell said. we have to hurry and get to the wizard so he can help Daisy.

They soon came to a stop as their path was cut off. In front of them was a large cliff. "How are we going to get up there?" Cassafras asked. "I don't know if we can." Izzy said. "We didn't come all this way to stop here!" Sammie shouted. Everyone looked at her. "What just happened. Did you yell?" Mimi asked. "I'm just so tired of trying to stay calm and I think the magic from my wooden post is starting to wear off." Sammie said. "Hey Sammie, why is that patch turning gray?" Seashell asked Sammie while pointing at a patch on Sammie's clothes. "Oh no what was I thinking. I signed a contract saying that I would be the Guardian of the Corn for at least fifteen years. Now that I'm off the post I'm slowly dying. I have three patches, and once each of them are gray I die." Sammie said as tears started welling up in her eyes. "Maybe we should turn back, so Sammie can get back to the post." Cassafras said. "No we can find a way up there. The wizard could help Sammie too." Izzy said.

"Look over there! It's a geyser!" Mimi said. Everyone looked over and saw the massive amount of water spraying from the ground. "Maybe we can ride the geyser to the top of the cliff." Izzy said.

First Cassafras with Mimi on her back rode on the geyser to the top. "Yes it worked!" Izzy said. Soon they were all at the top. "Another obstacle we got around."
They journeyed on getting closer to their destination. Zarina had more planned for them .
