The Regeneration

"Oh brilliant" I have to fight the urge to squeal as I gaze into the reflection of my TARDIS screen. I'm a woman! But still not ginger... Maybe I should have asked Missy for some tips- it's been a while since I've been a woman...
Blonde hair, cropped at the chin in a defiant line. Piercing blue eyes stare at me thoughtfully from the screen, trying to take in every inch of the new face. God, I need some new clothes.
Drawn away from the screen, I'm struck by an intense heat from behind. Flames lick at my feet like angry puppies, singeing my huge trousers. Fuck. Desperately, I lunge for the control panel. What do I do?! Through the regeneration haze I remember ummm, something about pears and... the blue button, yes the blue button, that'll save me! Thankfully plunging my fist down on it, the TARDIS doors open and throw me out, plunging me through the air into the unknown. Oops.
'Good job I'm still regenerating' I muse as I hurtle towards the ground. Who knows where I am, it's just dark, wooded, and oh there's a train. That I'm headed right for.
Ouch. Smashing headfirst through the roof of the train I gaze around the vehicle, winded. Three terrified faces stare back at me, an elderly man, his face creased with panic, a man of presumably 20 and a policewoman.  They all stare down at me in absolute shock, I forget that smashing through a roof isn't normal behaviour. Speaking of which, that really hurt, I'm starting to feel very weak...
As I come to, I notice the fairy lights decorating the ceiling. What a nice human touch, it's funny how much they value such small things, it's beautiful. I'm on a sofa, I realise as I crane my neck slightly. Turning to my right, I'm confronted by beautiful dark brown eyes a centimeter from mine. Deep, chocolatey brown with hints of gold in the corners. Oh how I just want to swim in them... I realise I'm staring- must be the regeneration energy. Trying to compose myself, I pull away suddenly. Where am I?

Suddenly, the other two from the train gather round me, pulling me out from deep within those eyes. Terrified, their eyes dart to each other and then back to me. What's scaring them so much? Oh. Glancing down, I notice the regeneration energy seeping through my skin, swirls of gold escaping from my fingertips. They must think they're going crazy.

"Sorry!" I panic as the policewoman opens her mouth to say something. "I'll go, don't worry, you won't see me again"

Before they know it, I'm on my feet, darting through a door, and escaping into the night.
