The Test

Sorry it has taken so long to update, I've been on hiatus and I got a bunch of comments saying update, so I doubt many will read this. But anyway, enjoy!

Third Person POV

Sakura arrives at training area ground 7. Not seeing either of her teammates or her sensei, she takes her picture of Sasuke out from a hidden pocket in her dress. "Ah, Sasuke, you are so hot!" She moans.

Meanwhile, Naruto and Sasuke are practicing chakra control with tree-walking. So far, Sasuke has been practicing jumping from branch to branch, while Naruto practices how long he can stand on the tree with one leg. "Man, I'm hungry!" Naruto complains, which is met with a small nod of agreement by Sasuke. "Do you want to head back to the entrance of the training area to see what Sakura is doing?" Naruto asks whilst flipping off the branch and landing back on the ground.
"Not particularly," Sasuke responds and jumps off his tree onto the ground.
"Kakashi-sensei will be here soon, got another 15 minutes before his ETA ("Estimated Time of Arrival" for anyone who doesn't know)," Naruto says as he started walking towards the entrance.
"Ok, let's go then," Sasuke grumbles in response.

2 minutes later

"OH, SASUKE! I love the way you feel inside me!"

Naruto glances his head to the side to see what Sakura was talking about. Without a word, he gives Sasuke a certain 'look'. And Sasuke visibly cringes.

"I believe it'd be for the best if you stay away from Sakura right now," Naruto Says.
"Agreed" Sasuke replies, and he walks in the opposite direction.

After getting out of eatshot of Sakura's... display, Sasuke and Naruto begin to spar, just to let the time pass.

Neither fighting seriously, they both just practice their jutsu proficiency and targetting skills with their kunai.

Time skip 10 minutes.

Kakashi arrives and Sasuke and Naruto greet him. Sakura, asleep under a tree, must have passed out after pleasuring herself.

Waking her up, Kakashi then goes explains what the Test will be.

"Sorry I was late, you see, there was a black cat,and I didn't want to get bad luck, so I took the long way, and got lost on the path of life," Kakashi explains.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever with your lame excuses, can we just hurry up and do whatever this test is supposed to be?" Naruto asks brashly.

"Sure, today, you take the real genin exam. You are required to take these 2 bells off me. Obtain 1, and you get to join team 7. If you don't get a bell, you will fail."

"Sounds easy enough," Sasuke states before he takes out a kunai, readying himself.

"Come at me with the intent to kill, do whatever you must to grab a bell. Good luck!" Kakashi eye-smiles, then jumps back 10 or so metres, and takes out a little orange book.

Watching through his peripheral vision, Kakashi sees sunshine reflect into his eyes. 'kunai, 12 o'clock, around 80 km/h, aimed towards my right lung' Kakashi thinks to himself. Stepping out of the way, A thunk could be heard as it pierces a tree.

"Glad to see you are taking this somewhat seriously, Naruto!" He exclaims and looks up, unsurprised to see the blonde genin.

"I'm not the only one taking it seriously! Come on out!" Naruto shouts.

Kakashi looked puzzled,'no way they figured out teamwork was the solution already? Even if Naruto and Sasuke are friends, they wouldn't have already known! Not with the way their relationships currently are'

When 3 shadow clones of Naruto, each with a kunai in hand, jump behind Kakashi, he calms down, realising that they haven't come to the conclusion yet.

He swiftly punches all 3 of them, and looks back at Naruto, only to see him gone.

'Did he retreat? .... no.'

Kakashi spins around a takes a kunai out, raising it to block Naruto's.

'Naruto wouldn't retreat, he used Shunshin!'

Parrying Naruto's strike with his own kunai, Naruto is thrown back a few feet, but maintains balance.

Naruto's POV
tsk. This is annoying, should I go find Sasuke? We could team up on him.

No. I need to test myself. See how far I can go against my soon to be sensei!

I dash forward, kunai in hand. I throw it at him, then jump up, now that I'm above Kakashi-sensei by almost 10 metres,I start going through hand signs.

"Futon: Propelling Winds!" (This jutsu creates a blast of air from the users palms, propelling them away from the direction their palm is facing, in this case, Naruto is pointing them upward, so he is propelled downward to Kakashi).

I take out another 2 kunai, and throw one, keeping the other in my hand. "One-man Naruto Barrage: Downward Spear!" I exclaim. Fast approaching Kakashi-sensei, he looks dumb-founded. Reaching to put his book back into his pocket, I take this oppurtunity to give Sasuke a signal, and he comes out from behind and starts doing signals for the fireball jutsu.

Sasuke's POV
I see naruto give the signal and begin to go through the hand signs for Fireball Jutsu. I see Kakashi notice, but he didn't realise he fell for our bluff.

Without focusing chakra anywhere, these hand signs are meaningless. I am just going through the hand signs to make him think we have him trapped. When in reality, a clone of Naruto henged as me is getting Sakura so we can regroup; this is just a distraction.

Third Person POV

Naruto's hands are grabbed and his weight is carried through in a swift motion, without losing momentum, Kakashi changes his direction so he goes flying towards Sasuke.

Kakashi's POV
They almost had me there, I underestimated them. I didn't think they would be this prepared. I should make a tactical retreat.

Third Person POV
Kakashi shunshins away as Sasuke catches Naruto, and drops him lightly.

Another Sasuke comes with Sakura trailing.

Naruto's POV
"With everyone now grouped together, I think it's time we made a plan," I say.

"Who died and made you the lea-"

"Shut up Sakura." Sasuke interrupts, his voice filled with disgust.

"Thank you Sasuke, so as I was saying, let's get started on a plan before he comes back".

A/N: Once again, sorry I am updating so infrequently, once a year.... yikes. I will continue this story now, expect updates more regularly, no promises though. Mostly a fighting and dialogue chapter this time. Not sure how good I am at writing fighting scenes, I tried my best. Comment recommendations, what you liked, disliked, anything really (accepting constructive criticism but no flames) (Also feel free to complain about how long this update took, I deserve it).
