chapter sixteen

"Are you nervous?" Ashton asked rubbing his hands. It was really cold today.

We were waiting at the hospital, today is the day of the appointment with the doctor.

We're just starting to process all of the pregnancy.

"I guess." I answered his question.

"Don't worry." He massaged my shoulders.

I put my hand over his, that was still on my shoulder approaching it.

I sighed.

"Miss Weisten." I heard the doctor call and we got up walking to the room. "Good afternoon." The doctor smiled for both of us.

We entered the room and sat on the chairs while the doctor closed the door.

"How have you been?" The doctor asked.

"I've been good." I answered.

"Have you been feeling any pain?"

"Not really."

"You must be the father." The doctor said to Ashton, who nodded. "How she's been?"

"Well, she's been hungry, puking and tired." Ashton told the doctor.

"You're probably not going to puke for so long."

"My mom said so too." I murmured.

"Well, we're heading to the other room so you will do the ultrasound." The doctor said getting up.

Ashton and I got up, the doctor opened the other door and we entered it.

"How do you feel?" Ashton asked.

I was sat in his sofa at his apartment. I have been in his apartment a lot lately.

"I feel calm, now."

All of sudden I began arguing with him because of where his things were.

"Are you sure?"

He seemed really scared of what I could do. I don't even know why it happened, I just got mad. He called my brother just to see if it was normal that I was arguing with him.

I almost punched him for calling my brother, but then I somewhat calmed down.

"Ashton, if you keep on asking I will get angry at you again!"

"Okay."

He sat beside me on the couch, putting his arm around my neck and pulled me closer to him.

"I'm sorry."

"It's alright. I'm just worried that something might happen to you." He murmured leaving kisses down my neck.

The ultrasound went well the other day, everything was fine with me and the baby. Ashton was somewhat anxious about the sex of the baby.

"Do you think that we are going to be good parents?" I asked him, pushing him down the couch, so we could lay down.

"I guess we will try our best."

"Did you go to see your mom?"

He told me yesterday at school that he was going to see his mom, so I went home instead of his apartment.

"It was nice. It's weird that I don't live with her anymore. The kids were so happy when they saw me. We talked about how things are going, and I told her about you and I."

"That's good, I guess."

"It is good!" He giggled. "Do you want to go get something from the market?"

"Yes, please! I'm hungry!"

I'M SORRY FOR SUCH A SHORT CHAPTER, THIS AND THE NEXT WEEK ARE THE LAST ONES OF SCHOOL, SO I'VE BEEN REALLY BUSY WITH ALL OF THAT TO TRY AND WRITE A CHAPTER, I'M SORRY.

IT'S STILL FRIDAY, BUT KINDA LATE FROM THE USUAL. I'M WATCHING ANIME SO I GOT DISTRACTED, ALMOST FORGOT TO POST.

IT'S BEEN A GOOD WEEK FOR ME, GOOD THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT SCHOOL, BUT UNFORTUNATELY NEXT WEEK IS THE LAST ONE. AND THEN NEXT YEAR IS JUNIOR YEAR. I DON'T WANT AND DON'T NEED SUMMER NOW! I'M MAD. BUT IF THINGS GO AS PLANNED, WE WILL TALK ON DA PHONE.
