A/N: This beautiful cover (and the one for TimeBound) was made by @wish247 and I just absolutely fell in love with it! She even for the rose right! LOOK AT KRI! <3! Thank you so much love! It's everything I never knew I wanted!
This must be what love feels like! <3

I'm squealing.
Squealing.
I jump to my feet, folding my laptop around and carry it over my head and race toward Kri's office room. Squealing.
I enter the room and the squealing stops for a bit. I look around. He wasn't here. I whip around, continue my squealing, and race around the house looking for Kri.
I burst through the door that leads to the pool. And I see my husband standing at the other end of the room, his hands in his pockets, white shirt shimmering in the breeze and facing away from me.
"Kri. Kri. Kri. Kri. Kri. Kri." I race toward him, my folded laptop still held like a trophy above my head.
My husband turns around, his brows raised mildly and I finally notice the comm in his ear.
Oops.
I slide to a stop before him, bouncing on my toes as I hold up my screen for him to see.
"The cover!" I whisper-gasp, shaking the screen at him, "They've made the cover!"
"Look at the cover!" I add in a lowered squeal.
My husband's icy blues drop from where they'd been glued to my face and peruse the brand new cover for my brand new series that I had just been sent to approve.
"Do you like it?!" Am I excited? Yes, I am.
My husband lifts his amused gaze back to my face and rubs a thumb over my cheek before tapping my lips once indicating I wait for a moment. I wait impatiently, shifting on my feet, as my husband ends his call.
As soon as he ends it, I all but pounce upon him.
"Well? What do you think?" I ask, "Do you love it?"
My husband takes my tablet from me and looks at the picture in the screen long enough that my impatience is smothered by the importance he gives the small task. The ashes of my restlessness are blown away to reveal gentle love.
His dark hair falls over his eyes that burn an icy blue. His shoulders stretch the material of his shirt and it tapers to lean hips and thighs that are bracketed in black pants that outline the muscles of his form.
Shadows wrap around my tablet and it gets carried away. I stare at it, my jaw dropping. I look at my husband again. He takes a single step toward me and my words stop. Leaning his head down, he places his index and thumb on either side of my jaw and tilts my head up.
"You were saying?" He asks.
"Did you like the cover?" I ask again, my voice much lower and much less squeal-y.
"Mm hmm." He murmurs and his lips brush mine. He rests them there.
"They got his eyes right." I whisper.
He kisses me.
"And her eyes—" kiss "—her features too—" kiss "—and all the colours—" kiss "—and—"
"And your name." He finishes.
He leans back, "They got your name right."
Something gleams in his eyes and I remember my name splayed across the bottom of the cover.
