Once they got home, Drishti had to unwilling wake her sister from her slumber. She gently shook her sister awake.

"Di, please let me sleep.". she whined.

"I will once you are in your bed. Please, come on. It's just a bit more of a walk.".

Divya reluctantly got out of the car with the help of Drishti. She was tired, sleepy and irritated. she wanted to sleep but no one was letting her sleep still, she let her sister drag her home.

Drishti dragged her half-asleep sister from the parking lot to their house and into her room. Divya's room was a mess and it was going to be hard to take care of her there.

She carefully laid her on the bed and draped the blanket on her. She was about to leave the room to get some supplies but Divya caught her wrist and started crying again.

"Dont go. Please.".

Drishti sat on the bed and wiped her tears. "Shhh. i m here. I m here. I m right here. I m not going anywhere.". She tucked a stray hair behind her ear and hummed comforting words while caressing her hair.

"Sar dukh raha hai".

"Toh sooja. Sar nahi dukhaga.". She said patting her to sleep. Once she was fast asleep, Drishti carefully pulled her hand out of her grip.

She exited the room and called the doctor. She went to the kitchen to gather some water in the bowl, cloths and a water bottle and water back to her room. She put the things down on the side table and sat on the bed. She dipped the clothe into the cold water and pressed it onto her sick sister's forehead.

Worried was not really the right word. It was more of scared. Scared to lose the only family she had left. She loved Divya more than her own life. She meant everything to her. She couldn't begin to imagine a life without her. Seeing her in this state was killing her. Her thoughts were interrupted by Divya's coughing.

"It's ok. You're fine.". She said rubbing her back. Once the coughs subsidised she gave her some water and placed the bottle back on the nightstand. Divya forehead crashed against Drishti's shoulder as she sobbed because of pain.

Drishti wrapped her hands around her shaking form and rocked them back and forth. Drishti was about to answer the door when she heard the bell rang but again Divya stopped her.

"divi. it's probably the doctor. I will go get him okay?.". She tried to reason.

Divya's eyes widened hear the word 'doctor'. She hated them. They were mean. She grabbed on to Drishti tighter. "No! No doctor. Ask him to go away. I dont want a doctor. They are bad. He will give me an injection! No di. Ask him to leave. I will give him chocolates if goes away.".

Drishti chuckled at her little sister. "I dont think he likes chocolate and he is not going anywhere. You need medical attention and that's final.".

"Nooooo.!" Divya sequel but Drishti was already gone. "What do i do now? Shiv ji, please save your innocent kid from that...achoo!", she sneezed.

Drishti returned with the doctor to find Divya buried under a bunch of blankets. She sighed. "Divi, remove those blankets. The doctor is here."

"No! Ask him to go and then I will come out," she screamed from under the blankets.

Drishti signalled the doctor to stand at the door while she approached Divya. "He is gone. Come out now.".

She poked her head out from the blanket before removing them. Drishti immediate help onto Divya tight and called the doctor in.

"What?! Go away!.". She started throwing the pillows at him once she was of drishti's grip. She was abt to get up and run but Drishti held her down. "Let me go! Dekho main tumhe jodungungi nahi. Tum jante nahi main koun ho. Yeh galat hai! Mumma!"

After about a good 1 hour her checkup was finally done. Divya had been a very difficult patient. Shouting, screaming, tantrums: it was like dealing with a 5-year-old.

"Is she okay doctor?". Drishti asked once they left the room, leaving an angry Divya behind.

"Yes. just a bug. But its important for the fever to go down and remember to take medicines on time. Dont worry, she will be fine in a few days.". He smiled and left.

Drishti took a deep breath and walked back into the room. Divya looked like an angry bird. Her nose was red and she had a cute angry pout. Drishti would have awed if it wasn't for the fact that the anger was directed at her. She walked to the bed and sat down beside her but Divya turned her head away.

"Divi. sorry.". No response. "Sorry na yaar. It was important. You needed a doctor...".

Divya turned her head and faced Drishti. "Doctors are mean, irritating and scary. They dont know anything. What if he gave me an injection?! And I dont need any doctor. I have you. You are all i need.".

"I know but, meri Jaan, I am not a doctor right? I can't prescribe your medication right?".

Divya stared at her for a while before sighing in defeat. she placed her head on Drishti's lap. "Why do you always have to be right. It's not fair.", She pouted.

Drishti chuckled. "Becuase my sister is never right.".

Divya sat right up and glared at her. "I am never right? Just because I am a minute younger doesn't mean I m never right. That's it. I am not talking to you.". She got up but nearly fell over as she clutched her head in her hands. Luckily, Drishti caught her in the nick of time and laid her on the bed.

"Chup karke yaha lait. Dekha kaha ta nah, office mat jaa. Par tujhr to apni man mani karni hai. Di ki suni hi kaha hai.". She looked at Divya but she was already fast asleep. She shook her head and started placing the cold cloths on her head again. "Tu meri baat kyu nahi sunti?" she sighed.
