It was the early hours of the day when Drishti woke up. The sun had yet to shine its rays. This was normal as Drishti usually woke up earlier then Divya. she got up and stretched her arms before making her way to Divya's room.

she walked into her little sister's room silently as to not disturb her. She let out a sigh when she saw the condition of the room. Divya's blanket was messily resting at her feet and her pillow was lying on the ground. Her clothes were thrown carelessly around on the floor and the sofa. Divya was lying on her stomach with her hair tied up into a messy bun.

"Oof, yeh larkdi. kya Karun main iska? Pura kamre main ghand phela kar rakha hai.", she said, shaking her head at her Divya's antics.

She carefully walked up to the bed making sure not to step on any article of clothing. She picked the blanket and draped it over her sister. She also picked up the fallen pillow and placed it under her head and went out of the room to get ready for work and prepare breakfast.

---DIVYADRISHTI---

After preparing breakfast for Divya and herself, Drishti made her way to Divya's room. She half expected her to still be sleeping without a care in the world.

Her doubts were confirmed when she saw Divya still sleeping soundly. She went up to her and started shaking her.

"Divi uth! Dekh suraj bhi nikal gaya. Divi!"

"Toh ap suraj ko kehya ki 5 minutes ka baad nikle. Divya Sharma abhi soo rahi hai." she mumbled, rolling onto Drishti's lap and falling right back to sleep.

Drishti smiled sarcastically."Ha zaroor. Kyu nahi? Akir suraj mera dost hain. Mera kahna pai dob jayaga. Aur koi khawahish hai miss divya sharma?"

"Nahi, abhi ka leyeh sirf yehi.". Divya was never an early riser. She loved her sleep and could sleep through almost everything. Even an earthquake. but not through the nagging of her sister.

"Chup kar.". Drishti waved her hands around the room. "aur yeh kamra ka kya hal bana kar rakha hai. Yeh kapdre za..." her rant stopped midway as her hand made contact with Divya's warm forehead. She placed the back of her hand on Divya's neck and felt her temperature. "Divi, tujeh bukar hai!"

Divya's eyes widened as soon as she heard those words. Those were her sister's code for, "I am going into big sister mode". She knows Drishti was going to be overprotective and naggy if she found out Divya was sick. Well, she already did so now a diversion was needed.

She also knew that she won't let her go to work. But she had a really important meeting today and could not afford to miss it. So she that means she needs to get out of bed. right now.

"What? Nahi toh. Main thik hoon di. Lagta hai apko Rakshit ki bahut yaad a rahi hai. Isliyeh apko hallucinations ho rahe hai. Di apko therapist ki zarrorat hai.". As soon as the words left her mouth she ran out of the room.

Drishti looked on concerned at the fact that she was sick. It took her a few seconds to register what Divya said but when she did, she ran after her.

"Divi! Come back here right now. You are sick and you need to rest!", but before she could get to Divya, she shut the washroom door. "Divi!"

"No di. I am fine and aaj meri bohot important meeting hai. Aur main late ho rahi hoon! Apne mujhe pahle kyun nahi utaya?" , Divya shouted from inside the washroom.

"Kya?! Maine kyun nahi uthaya ?"

"Haan app ne mujhe kyun nahi uthaya. Apki vajah se main late ho rahi hoon."

Drishti sucked in her breathe and shut her eyes. "Khud khumbkaran ki need so kar mujpe ilzam laga rahi hai. Rook. bahar a batati hoon Tujhe.'' saying this she left from there, forgetting about Divya's fever.

---DIVYADRISHTI----

Inside the washroom, Divya waited for the retrieving steps of her sister to stop echoing before she shot her fist in the air and started dancing.

If there was something Drishti couldn't stand, it was being blamed for something she didn't do. And she knew it would have easily distracted her.

She pat herself on the back saying, "well-done divi!"

She had to stop dancing as she was overcome by a dizzy spell. She held onto the side rail to stop herself from falling. After taking a breather she proceeded to start getting ready for work brushing off the moment of weakness as the result of dancing.

---DIVYADRISHTI---

Drishti stormed into the kitchen. "Meri vajah se? Maine kya kiya? Har roz ise kahti hoon, divi jaldi uth office ke liyeh dar ho jaygi. Par nahi. Is ko toh apni need piyari hai. Aur phir mujhe gussa nikalti hai. Ana do isse."

she laid breakfast on the dining table and waited patiently for Divya to arrive.

Drishti prefered to a have light breakfast consisting of just french toast. while Divya was a "bookhad" as she called it and needed to be fed a slightly heavier breakfast with the edition of eggs or cereal.

"Divi! Kaha reh gayi. Abhi late nahi ho raha hai?"

---DIVYADRISHTI---

Divya was leaning against her door frame trying to let the lightheadedness pass. Honestly, she was starting to feel a little sick but she was still determined to go to work.

"Di ko nahi bata sakti. Vo tu meri baby sitter ban jaengi. Mujhe karvi karvi medicines kilaingi.", she shuddered at the thought. "No I'm fine and I m going to impress the client at the meeting and crack the deal.", she declared. "I m my di's sister, I can do anything."

Her self pep talk with interrupted when she heard Drishti screaming, "Divi! Kaha reh gayi. Abhi late nahi ho raha hai?",

"Ayi di!" she answered, walking down the stairs confidently.

Although she was not really feeling that great, she was adamant on cracking that deal. For that to happen she had to convince her sister that she was fine.
