3rd person POV

It's a sunny Spring day at Smash Mansion. The sun bringing warmth and light, flowers blooming, little birds chirping, soft breezes flowing, and Smashers enjoying the day. Today Master Hand decided to give the Smashers a day off from battles.

There's a Smasher named (Y/N), who's known as The Kitty of the Mansion. She wears a nice (s/f/c) mini dress, a comfortable pair of baby heels, a (s/f/c) bow on one of her neko ears and a silky ribbon tied around the end of her tail. Her ears and tail are so soft and smooth that they even shine in the light.

When a Smasher or two interacts with her, she speaks a bit quietly, unintentionally making herself cuter. The fighters say that her shyness adds to her cuteness, and sometimes they'd ask if they can caress her ears or tail.

Although, there's a Smasher that really likes (Y/N) for more than just her cuteness though. And that Smasher was Roy, The Young Lion. Not only does he like her, but she secretly likes him as well.

They met in Melee, starting off as acquaintances. Their kind intros brought them close to each other at the start. As time went by, they socialized with each other and became close friends. When Roy was left out of Brawl, (Y/N) was so upset but they found a way to communicate with each other. They also wrote letters to each other once in a while. Then when Smash 4 came out, they met up and were astonished.

Roy's POV

Today is a beautiful day and Master Hand decided to give us all today off. I plan on hanging out with (Y/N). We haven't been able to hang out as often as we did in the past because of what's going on.

Because of my improvements in Smash 4, it gave me a major boost in my status and I got a new look. As a result, some of the other girls started to flirt with me in Smash 4. Now that there's Ultimate, the flirting has worsened.

All this flirting is making me very uncomfortable. It's ruining my time with (Y/N). Not only is it ruining my time, but it's also destroying my chances. I politely tell the girls to leave me alone, but they'd only stay away from me for like, an hour. To me that's not enough.

(Sigh)... Damn those girls. Are they trying to get rid of my connection with (Y/N)?! I hope not. It's been going on for quite some time now. I really want to end this as soon as possible, but how?

Time Skip

"Gahhh! Stay away from me you... you... Girls! I'm not interested in hanging out with any of you! I have plans for today and I'm gonna stick with them!". And here I go again. Running away from Peach, Palutena, Reflet, Samus, and all the other girls.

"Oh Roy! Can't you let those plans "slide" for today~? We just want to be with you! You've become a man during the past few years, both in and out.", says Peach.

"I don't care if I'm a man or not! Just go away and leave me alone for at least the rest of today!", I exclaimed.

Unfortunately, they didn't listen. I ran all the way to my room. Being one of the fastest runners, I managed to get the girls far away from me. Luckily, I made a little hiding place in my room. I hope none of those girls find out though.

When I got into my room, I immediately turned around, locked the door, and kicked the wall near my bed. A small hole in my ceiling opened up and I jumped up. Then I tapped the floor next to the hole with my foot and it closed up. Through the floorboards I heard the girls banging on my bedroom door until it cracked open, knowing that they broke in. I remained still and silent, hoping they don't find out I'm up here. But it was a little hard to stay silent because I was breathing so heavily from all that running.

Oh please (Y/N). I hope you understand that I'm running away from these girls, not you. I'm so sorry. I'll see you soon. I promise. Just hang in there.

Your POV

(Sigh) There they go again... All those girls chasing Roy off to who knows where...

This is really upsetting me. My time with my best friend/crush is getting eaten up by all these girls. They're always bothering us. We can hardly spend time together without a girl or two interrupting us.

Sometimes when we hang out, he strokes my (f/c) ears. Because of that, I close my eyes, shyly let out a purr, and blush. That makes him chuckle. Sometimes when I turn into my full neko form, he'd caress me with an even bigger smile.

He's so gentle when he does this. I can tell that they're full of affection. But when any of the others do it, they don't do it as nicely as Roy does. They do it 'cuz they like my fur.

Time Skip

(Yawwn) I think I'm gonna take a cat nap for a while. Turning into a cat and running away from kids can sure drain the energy out of me.

So I went into my room and closed the door. But when I got into bed and closed my eyes, I heard a knock on the door. It startled me so much that I immediately hid underneath my bed.

Then the door opened and Roy came in. "Huh. I thought I saw (Y/N) come in here.", Roy said while looking around.

"Oh Roy. I'm over here. Sorry. Cat instincts. Hehe...", I sweatdropped and got back up.

"Oh sorry (Y/N), I didn't mean to scare you or anything. I just wanted to ask if you wanted to go on a stroll with me around the lake during sunset. So, will you?", he asked.

I smiled and said, "Yes.". Then he smiled and said, "Alright. Meet you at the entrance in 5 minutes.".

5 minutes later- Sunset

Roy's POV

Alright. Right now, none of the other girls are bothering me. Earlier I scolded all of them for breaking into my room and as punishment, told them to fix my door and leave me alone for the rest of today. They were upset, but who cares?

A ha! I see her coming. The Kitty of the Mansion. Soon to be my kitty. I hope.

After saying a quick "Hey.", we went on our stroll to the lake. We had a nice chat, are enjoying each other's company, and finally arrived at the lake. When we arrived I turned around, held her hands, and looked at her. She looked at our hands then faced me, and I started to talk.

"So (Y/N). All the time that I've missed with you was because of all the other girls chasing me around and I'm really sorry about that. Truly I am. I'm not trying to avoid you or anything, I'm trying to avoid those other girls. If they continue to chase me around, I want you to know that I love you very much.".

Your POV

I cannot believe what I just heard. Did he really say that he loves me?! Oh my goodness.

Out of relief and surprise, I lunged forward and hugged him so tightly he tensed up. Then he eased down and hugged me back. I said, "I love you too.", and we hugged even tighter.

Seconds later, we looked at each other and our faces got closer and we kissed. It lasted until we needed to breathe. When we regained our breaths, we strolled back to the mansion right next to each other, hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder.

Now that we're together, the girls no longer chased Roy around. Hooray!
