A Change for the Truth (Dark Pit x Reader)

3rd Person POV

"Truth or dare (Y/N)?", questioned The Young Lion, Roy.

"Hmm... Truth.", (Y/N) proudly answered.

"Is it true you have a crush on someone~?", Roy asked with a smirk.

(Y/N) lost her confidence and blushed, too nervous to confess. They, along with Reflet, Pit, Pittoo, Peach, Daisy, and Young Link, were all playing the classic game of truth or dare. She immediately said "No.". Now it's (Y/N)'s turn.

"Alright Pittoo. Truth or dare?".

"Stop calling me that! (Sigh)... Dare.".

"I dare you to drink this.". So (Y/N) gave him a small bottle of clear liquid. He quickly drank it, thinking it was water. But it wasn't.

Minor Time Skip

It's bedtime so everyone did their night time routine and went to bed.

Pittoo simply took a quick shower, brushed his teeth, combed his hair, got dressed, and went to bed.

Little did he know that he'd wake up to an astonishing surprise.

The Next Day

Pittoo was waking up when he felt odd. Wondered why he felt like this, he looked in a mirror. Pittoo gasped at what he saw. He was a girl!

Pittoo stumbled backwards onto the floor, holding his head while facing down. He started to think about how this could've happened. It couldn't have happened a minute ago cuz he just woke up. So Pittoo thought of what he did yesterday.

Then he realized it must've been that fluid he drank during truth or dare. The clear liquid that (Y/N) dared him to drink.

After taking a minute to calm down, Pittoo went to his closet. He was hoping his clothes became a female version. After opening the closet, he was relieved to see that his clothes changed like he hoped.

Time Skip

This morning, Pittoo only brushed his teeth and got dressed. He decided to make a plan on how to handle this predicament. On an average day, he takes a shower, brushes his teeth and hair, gets dressed, eats his meals, and participate in battles. Other than getting annoyed with being called Pittoo by others.

Minor Time Skip

Pittoo decided to have a talk with (Y/N) first before breakfast. He was hoping the solution wouldn't have to be him waiting for the day to end.

Pittoo's POV

(Sigh)... I can't believe this happened! All because of that liquid I drank!

Now that I'm a girl, all my clothes are female versions! I have a slim, hourglass figure. But at least my wings are still the same. Thank goodness.

I quickly got dressed and took a quick peek into the hallway. Nobody was in the area so I sprinted to (Y/N)'s room.

I barged right in, slamming the door shut. (Y/N) jolted out of bed and saw someone at her door. She stretched, yawned, and rubbed her eyes before clearly seeing who was there.

"Wha? Who's there?", (Y/N) groggily asked while rubbing her eyes. I was enraged, having the desire to yell. Even though I wanted to, I was concerned that I'd sound like a girl so I didn't speak.

After (Y/N) was done, she looked up and saw me. But since I was a female, she couldn't recognize me, so (Y/N) quickly brought out her weapon.

She pointed/aimed at me in defense, saying "Who are you? What do you want and why are you here?". Preparing for a certain change, I took a deep breath and spoke.

I said, "It's me, Dark Pit." The second after I said that, (Y/N) started to laugh. Why is she laughing? This isn't funny! At least to me, it isn't.

"Wow Pittoo. I knew you'd transform into a girl, but didn't expect you to sound like one. And you're here because you want to return to normal huh?", she said with a chuckle. I just simply glared. (Y/N) took it as a "Yes.", and told me the solution. I was surprised at what she said.

"Alright. To turn back into your original dark moody self, you just need to confess your love to the girl you like.".

"Seriously? That's all I have to do?", I questioned.

She smiled, nodded, and said "Yes.".

As quickly as I could, I closed my eyes and said "I love you." to (Y/N). She widened her eyes and my body felt odd.

Then I opened my eyes and looked down. I didn't see any breasts so that's a good sign. To make sure that I'm completely male, I looked in a mirror and was relieved to see my original self. My clothes returned to normal as well.

"Glad that's over.", I spoke in relief. Not only did I look like myself again, but I sounded like myself as well.

I turned around to say something to (Y/N), but she was asleep. I decided to let it slide for now and headed back to my room.

Your POV

Now he's gone. Thank goodness!

While Pittoo was looking at his reflection, I decided to play asleep so that he'd leave. And it worked! But I don't know what he'll do to me later on. So I got up and got ready for the day.

While getting ready, I couldn't stop thinking about what Pittoo said. Does he really love me?

Minor Time Skip

I walked into the hallway and saw Pit. We greeted each other and headed to the cafeteria while talking.

When we got there, we both looked for a table. There was one available so me and Pit got our meals and sat there. Then Palutena came in.

"Good morning Pit and (Y/N).", Palutena greeted.

"Morning Lady Palutena.", Pit and I surprisingly said at the same time. We gave each other a shocked look and Lady Palutena laughed.

Pittoo's POV

As Smashers (including me) were coming in, I decided to sit somewhere else and avoid (Y/N) for the day.

Time Skip

It's sunset and I'm outside, trying to avoid (Y/N). I really hope she doesn't come out. She's been trying to get me throughout the day.

Unaware of what's around me, I was captured by somebody. I tried to escape but the person holding me just giggled. And from that giggle, I immediately knew who caught me.

"Awww Pittoo~ Are you trying to escape~?", (Y/N) teases.

I turned around and said with attitude, "What do you think?". I started thrashing, trying to free myself. But I failed. (Y/N) only tightened her hold, so I stopped.

"Pittoo, listen. We both know that the liquid I made you drink yesterday turned you into a girl. Someone told me that you like me. I won't say who though. At first I didn't believe him, but he kept telling me. So I thought of a way to see if he was right, which resulted in that potion. I knew that you wouldn't drink it if I asked or told you to. Then I heard Pit was playing truth or dare and that he forced you to play. So I took that as a chance to make you drink the liquid and it worked.".

From the sound of her voice and her tight grasp, I can tell she wasn't lying. I was about to say something but she interrupted me.

"Now that I've told you something you should know, I want you to tell me if it's true that you like me.", (Y/N) ordered.

At this point, I sighed and she let me go. I turned around, looked at her, took a deep breath, and exhaled. A split second after exhaling, I grabbed both of her arms and kissed her. She tensed up at first but then relaxed.

Seconds later, we separated and gazed at each other. While we were kissing, I lowered my grasp down to her hands.

With a smirk, (Y/N) said, "So you do like me.".

"Pfft. No I don't. I love you. Like isn't enough.".
