"Ms. Knowles you have to push". The doctor instructed as Beyoncé shook her head. Her heart hammered as she felt the pressure between her legs. "N-no what about Stephen?". She asked weakly as the doctor gave her a puzzled look. "I-I can't have our baby without him". She cried as the doctor looked up at her.
"Beyoncé, they are doing their best to save him right now, but at the moment I need you to deliver this baby". She softly said as Beyoncé sniffled nodding. Beyoncé sat up pushing her damp hair out her face. "You ready sweetie?". The doctor asked as Beyoncé bit her lip nodding.
"We're loosing him!". He shouted as the monitor beeped loudly, "Go get Mrs. Smith!". He shouted as the nurse rushed out the room towards the stairs.
Beyoncé fell back onto the pillows as she attempted to catch her breath. She sat up in question, ignoring the pain. "Why isn't she crying?". She asked in a panic, the doctor went over cleaning the baby up.
Ticking her small foot, loud cries echoed throughout the room. "She has a very healthy set of lungs on her". She said as she wrapped her in the pink blanket. Putting the hat on her mountain of dark curls, she smiled at the newborn. Walking over to Beyoncé, she handed Beyoncé the baby.
Beyoncé looked down at the baby, she cried as she looked her over. Grabbing her small hand in hers, she counted her fingers. "Y-your so beautiful". She whispered as she leaned forward gently kissing the baby forehead. Her eyes fluttered open revealing a pair of hazel green eyes. "Do you have a name?". She asked as Beyoncé admired the baby she helped make. "Mrs. Smith! We need you". The nurse shouted as Beyoncé looked over at the flustered nurse.
Beyoncé eyes went back to the baby, she gently traced her eyebrows. "Serenity". She softly said as the baby kept her eyes on Beyoncé's. Beyoncé bit down on her trembling lip,
Putting the baby in the transparent crib beside her bed, she turned on her side, covering her face with her hair as she gripped the pillow in front of her breaking down.

Beyoncé turned on her back, looking up at the white ceiling. The room was dark, the only light was from the television which was playing on very low volume. Looking over at the crib, Beyoncé's eyes widen. Reaching over she turned the lamp on. Her heart dropped. "Serenity?". She screamed as she sat up quickly.
Swinging her legs over the bed, she stood up wincing in pain. "Oh god". She cried as she sat down, reaching for the bottom, she turned looking at the door way. Tina stood at the door with serenity in her arms. "Why the hell do you have my daughter?". Beyoncé screamed, not only startling the baby but Tina as well. Serenity let out a loud cry,
Beyoncé stood up, slowly walking over to stand in front of her mother. Gently taking the baby out her arms, she immediately stopped crying snuggling into her mother's arms.
Beyoncé looked into her mother's sympathetic eyes, "We saw the news on what happened". She softly said as Beyoncé swallowed the lump in her throat.
"J-just leave me alone". Beyoncé choked out laying on the bed. She watched as serenity yawned her eyes slowly closing. "Beyoncé I'm sorry". Tina said taking a seat in the chair beside the hospital bed.
"You and everyone else wanted me to abort her, n-now you want me to forgive you". Beyoncé dry chuckled. "M-mom I love you but I need to be alone right now". She said as Tina masked her hurt nodding.
"I truly am sorry, and I hope Stephen is okay". She whispered as she went over kissing Beyoncé on her forehead. Tina walked out the room, tears running down her as face as she went to the elevators.
Beyoncé reached over pushing the nurse bottom, she absentmindedly played with serenity's hand as she slept.
"Yes Ms. Knowles?". He asked as she sat up. "Can someone please tell me what's going on with my boyfriend". She begged as he nodded. She waited patiently as he held his clipboard.
Her face of hope washed away as he opened his mouth. "I'm sorry Ms. Knowles he's in a coma".
