Chapter 2

Today I heard my Kidnappers voice, it was a deep soothing voice. I asked him why I was here and he just looked at me and laughed as he shook his head. "Your here because you are special." He said .
I asked him what his name was and he replied with "Jack" then he walked up to me and picked me up and hugged me. After a minute he put me back down and left, sealing the only chance of freedom away....

The next day

Naib woke up and did his morning routine, shower, brush teeth, change clothes, comb hair, and put on his shoes, then he raced out the door.

He got in his car then drove to work, making it 1 minute late.

He went to his office and sat, he was staring at a previous case when Eli and Aesop walked in.

Naib:" Oh good morning,yall!" Naib said smiling.

Eli:"Good morning"

Aesop:"Morning" Aesop said as he took off his mask and sat in a random chair in Naibs office.

Naib:" soo......why are you in my office this early??" Naib said hoping he didnt sound rude.

Eli:"Remember, your helping us with the case and Aesop is helping to" Eli said pointing to him.

Aesop just nodded his head.

Naib:"But I didnt say yes though" Naib said with a grumpy voice.

Eli:"Yeah, but please just help us look into this case. I'm begging you" Eli said as put his hands together.

Aesop as did the same but he was still sitting down.

Naib:"I'll look into it later......but I'm not gonna do much, but can I ask you something?"

Eli:"Of course, what is it??"

Naib:" What time of day were the kidnaps and murders ??"

Eli:"According to the files it say that all of it occurred at midnight. But why do you want to know that??"

Naib:" You two, do an investigation at night. If your telling me all the kidnaps and murders occur at midnight, then do an investigation at midnight ." Naib said as he yawned .

Eli:"Your right, why havent I thought of that" Eli said as he scratched his head.
"Anyways, Aesop in an hour we'll start the investigation "

Naib:"What do you mean in an hour, it's only 11am ??"

Eli:" what are you saying, its 11pm right now ?" Eli said getting confused.

Naib:"What??? But it was just morning a few minutes ago !!" Naib said confused.

Aesop just looked at a wall (you) and smiled .

Aesop:" okay "

Eli:"then its settled, okay were leaving. Bye Naib see you tomorrow " Eli said as he and Aesop left.

'Well that's settled now I dont have to do anything right now, ima just go home and sleep' Naib thought as he grabbed his things and left.

Naib was walking when he ran into a tall man.

Naib:"Oh my, I'm sorry" Naib said as he looked at the stranger.

The stranger only stared at him then grunted as he left.

'Oh I probably made him made, he must've came back from work tired' Naib thought as he continued to walk, eventually making it home and to his bed.

Aesop and Eli were roaming around the town looking for any suspicious things when the heard a scream.

They ran towards the scream, when they got there they saw a tall man biting a lady's neck.

Eli pulled out his gun and yelled freeze, but the figure only continued.
Eventually Eli fired his gun, hitting the Thing but the thing didnt flinch.

It eventually stopped bitting the lady's neck, the body dropping to the floor .
The thing looked at  Eli and Aesop, and Charged at Eli .

Eli was ready for impact when he felt something go around his neck, he opened his eyes to see Aesop putting a cross necklace and a rosary on his head and hands.

The thing backed away from Eli as Eli just looked at the thing and Aesop.

Aesop:" Just as I thought, it is a vampire. I thought yall were extinct " Aesop said as he pulled out a bottle of water and a stake.

Eli:"A what??" Eli said confused.

Aesop just looked at him and then back to the vampire.

But when Aesop looked back he couldn't find the vampire anywhere.
He turned back around only to see Eli for a split second as he was knocked out from behind by the vampire .

Eli:" AESOP!"Eli yelled as he tried to get Aesop only to be kicked back by the vampire.

Eli got up only to see one of his bestfriends and the vampire gone.

Eli terrified and confused ran back home to write down everything that happened.
