A few days later. ...

Eli told Naib that he was a vampire in a calm easy manner when they got to Naib's house.

Flashback...

"So that's basically what happened"Eli said, explaining the situation Naib was in.

Naib took a deep breath. "So your telling me... IM BETROTHED TO A VAMPIRE, THE VAMPIRE TURNED ME INTO A VAMPIRE, I HAVE TO DRINK HUMAN BLOOD, AND THAT IM BASICALLY DOOMED FOREVER!"Naib yelled as he started to lose himself.

Eli tried to calm him down."hey hey, its okay. Just breath, you'll be fine. It's not as bad as you think" Eli said.

Naib slammed his fist on the table breaking it immediately."wha- I want to sleep, this is probably a bad dream. So uh, goodnight Eli" Naib said as he stumbled to his room, slamming the door behind him.

Eli just watched."This is gonna be a hassle, I'll have to ask Aesop for help "

End of flashbacks...

Eli was now at Naibs front door.
He knocked. "Naib you cant have anymore sick days, Emily wont allow you to do it, she wants to see you same with everyone else" eli said as he knocked again.

After a few more knocks the door open, revealing a tired Naib."I don't care,if they want to see me. I'm a monster Eli, a monster and I'm not gonna go reveal myself to my friends and family that I'm a vampire that has to drink blood. That'll be weird."Naib said as he closed the door till only a crack was left.

Eli sighed."Come on its not so bad,atleast your alive?"

"I wish the vampire killed me off"Naib said as you can hear a tint of sadness in his voice.

"Aesop, I need you to talk to him" Eli said as a man behind him stepped forward.

"Wait Aesop is here?!" Naib said as he looked through the crack of the door only for the door to fling into his face.

Aesop stepped in and bruh himself off."sorry about that Naib you were kinda being a baby about this." Aesop said as he held out his hand for Naib to grab onto.

Naib grabbed Aesops and and got up ."well its good to see your up and at em" Naib said brushing himself off.

"Now what Eli said, You have to go to work. It doesn't Matter if your a vampire or not" Aesop said .

"But what if they find out I'm a vampire, how would they react. They'll think of me as a freak!" Naib said as sat on his couch.

"Naib we've been working at that department for 5 years, everyone there is a family member. Family members shouldn't judge you,everyone at the department loves you, and they're worried about you " Eli said as he patted Naibs back.

Naib looked to the side and sighed."I'm just not ready, what would they do when they find out I'm a vampire that has to drink Human blood!"

"They won't do anything to harm you, because they know you won't harm them, no go get dressed. I'm not letting you stall for the rest of this chapter" Aesop said as he pointed to Naibs room.

"Wait what was that last part?" Naib said confused only to have Eli and Aesop move him into his room to get ready.

Some time later...

Naib us fully dressed. He has Fresh clothing on and his hair in a messy bun.(btw Naibs hair is about medium length)

"Okay I'm done, but are you sure they wont abandoned me if they find out" Naib asked worriedly.

"Yes, you'll be fine. Also you've never asked about how your gonna eat your food there or anywhere. Why haven't you asked that question?" Aesop asked.

"Well I kinda forgot about it,but I can just hide a thing of blood and drink it from time to time."Naib said as he pulled out some blood packets Jack and Eli left him.

Aesop shook his head and grabbed the blood packets."I'll make you red tea everytime you get hungry,which should only be one time a day.
If you randomly get hungry then call me or Eli to get you something, all we have to do is make the blood into a paste and you can smear it on bread or anything, but for the tea I'll mix the normal tea and the blood together. Please make sure no one but you drinks it!" Aesop said as he heard pack one of the blood packets.

"So we're leaving now?" Eli asked as he pulled out his keys, as Aesop nodded his head.

Everyone got in the car and they drives off to work after closing the doors and locking it.

"So Aesoo, how did you know to mix the blood with normal things so I can eat it. Also how do you know everything about this" Naib asked.

"Well......oh where do I begin. Well my real name isn't really Aesop Carl, its Aesop Van Helsing but I adopted the last name Carl due to my parents wanting to keep our last name a secret. I was trained to execute Vampires in a quick and painless manor. But on one of my missions I ran into a French fellow,for some reason I couldn't bring myself to kill him.
Luckily for me and my weakness, the french fellow didnt kill me but instead put a curse on me, and now I'm his puppet.  But hes done nothing wrong, surprisingly, he treats me well. " Aesop said as he finished his story when he got to the police department.

"So are you under his control ?" Naib asked .

"Well I said im his puppet, but necessarily his slave. Also he can see whatever I see through my eyes or speak from my mouth but he cant control or manipulate my brain he can only move my body parts ." Aesop said as his right hand suddenly pinched his own but, causing Aesop to curse to himself.

"So basically we're all under some sort ta protection form magical being?" Eli said neveroisly laughing, which earned a head nod from Aesop and Naib.

"Wow" eli said as they walked into the department.

I'm sorry for the slow updates, I know there should be no reason for slow updates but I have a serious case of WRITERS BLOCK  and it sucksss. Anyway I hope y'all are doing well and are feeling well .
Also I hope yall are doing well in this suffocating isolation, now you know how Naib felt.
