What could i have text back, "hey sorry i couldnt make it my mums got cancer though so yeah"? I mean i hardley knew the guy, and i couldnt tell him this..so i wrote out a simple explanation

"Hi, something popped up, im sorry, free this afternoon?"

It was only a matter of minutes before he text back

"And you didnt bother to let me know?"

Great, what was i going to say now?

"It was important, you won't understand, just give me a chance to explain later"  At least i would have some time to make up a cover story

"3pm, i'll pick you up?"

"Perfect:)"

Just then i got a tap on my shoulder, making me shudder, even though i knew it was daisy, my best friend. 

"ooo, who you texting" She squealed, shes always trying to get me to talk to boys.

"No-one" By the look on her face she didnt believe me, she knew me inside out.

"OMG, its a boy..." Her face lit up, and she jumped with excitement.

"No..no, i mean yeah, but not in that way.." 

"Thats what you think, after i'm done with you, you'll be more than just friends" I could feel a make-up session from hell coming along....

so 3 hours later and im dressed in a blue laced dress, that was not too casual, and not to formal, just incase he was taking me to some sort of fast food place. My hair was curled into natural waves, by braiding them into plaits whilst it was wet, and i had my usual make-up on but with a light layer of aqua covering my eye lids, to match the dress. Dont get me wrong, i am a girly girl, who likes to do her hair and dress up, but i just dont like to pile my make up on and look fake. And anyway, Daisy somehow managed to distract me from Mums problems, which made me feel a bit better. 

I litteraly had 5 minutes to say goodbye to mum and get Daisy away before she tried to harrass Ryan. I walked over to mum who was sitting on the sofa watching Corronation street, which has recently become her newest habit. She looked up immedialtly and smiled as i came to kiss her cheek. 

"Im so glad you turned out a stunning girl, Lucy" She said

"Thats because i have you as a mother" I answered, and she kissed my on my nose before telling me to go and get the pepper spray out the cupboard, just incase Ryan "touches me" as Mum described. 

-ding, dong- The doorbell rang

I opened the door to see a very handsome Ryan looking rather confused.

"Have I got the right house?" His mouth dropped open, man this guy was cheesy

"Stop the cheesy-ness, its embarrasing!" I said, secretly liking it.

"Fine, but you look..Wow."

"Err, thanks?"

He escorted me to his car, pulling the door open as i clambred in, getting my heels stuck on the bottem. God these were annoying. I could see Ryan trying to hide his laughter, as i was pulling my leg out of the rediculously high heels.

"Im gonna go change these" I said, running down the driveway to the front door and exchanging the deadly heels for some cute pumps. 

"So, where are we going?" I said trying not to sound too excited

"Secret" 

"But-" He put his finger on my lips to shut me up

"No, its a secret"     

"Fine--"

We were driving for about an hour and a half until we arrived in the middle of no where, where Ryan finally stopped the car and sighed.

"Okay, quess where we are" I looked around and only saw trees

"Erm the woods?"

"Sorta, look close into the trees?" I looked closer, seeing small wires hanging from tree to tree. and then i realised

"OMG, GO APE!" I love this place. "how did you know?"

"Erm..Daisy" 

"You talked to daisy? Why the hell did she dress me up like i was going to some party?" He laughed

We got out the car and headed towards the entrance, and was greeted my some man in an ape costume, trying to fool me into buying a outfit. I went to the bathroom to change into my more suitable clothes, and to ring Daisy. 

"Daisy, i cant belive you talked to Ryan"

"Calm down, he sounds like hes really into you"

"Yeh but now it sounds like i wanted to go on a date, but that sounds needy, and then he could go off me and-"

"omg, shut up, get dressed, go out there and have fun" aqnd with that she hung upon me just as i was doing the skinny jean dance as i stuggled to put them on. I walked outside to see Ryan collecting our gear, smiling to himself. 

"Hey, were ready to start"

"Yay!"

I ran to the start and cliped my thing on so i was secure and climed up the ladder, with Ryan following after me, trying not to fall off by me swinging the rope from side to side.

"Stop it, i fall of in a minute" He joked

"I thought you were strong" i teased

"Not when my hands are freezing, so stop" 

"Say please"

"Please"

"like you mean it" This was fun

"Pretty please stop the swinging" And after one last swing, i was done
