7 years and counting- Love Hearts

Heartbreak

I woke up the next day feeling dreadful. I still couldnt get my head around the fact that i had ran away from my crush, when he said he wanted to go out with me. I ran through what had happened in my head another 5 times, before calling Daisy.

"Helllooo....this is Daisy, im not here at the moment, but leave a message!" Great answer phone. She must still be asleep knowing her. Instead, i tried to put my anxiety behind me and plucked up the courage to call Ryan. Of course it went straight to answer phone.I had defenalty blown it.

3 hours later and i was dressed and taking Max and Mum to Nando's for a specail treat. Mum's cancer had been decreasing rapidly so it caused for a celebration, plus none of them had lost their Nando's Virginity yet. I still felt pretty depressed about blowing my chances with Ryan, but i had to keep happy around Mum and espesially max. I now felt like a mahoosive baloon, since i ate the Perri-Perri chicken and i was full. Max had also scoffed his face, and was now complaining that he had a stomach ache.

"Serves you right Mr, you shouldnt of eaten that much" I said

"I think i can still eat some pudding though" He replied cheekily

"Oh can you now" I said sarcasticly, tickling him.

"I like all of us together like this, it makes me happy" Max said, being all inocent, he was so cute

"Well, you should do because we are defenatly spending more time together from now on" Mum said, tears welling up. We did our secret handshake, before mum gave us a fiver to go to the shops to get some pudding, since the one's at Nandos were too expensive. 

We were just coming up to a Busy road, when Max spotted something. I dont know what it was, but he seemed to want to chase it, and before you know it, he was on the road.

Ryans P.O.V

-5 minutes earlier-

"That'll be £5.95 please sir" The girl said flickering her eye lashes at me. She must of been, what 13? I grabbed my dinner and walked out the Fish and Chip shop, cursing at the chill of the wind as it blew against me. Just then i saw Lucy and her brother at the other side of the road. She looked depressed and misserable, just how i was feeling. I couldn't stop myself from thinking that she liked me, but then i remembered what happened yesterday, and i pused that thought to the back of my head. 

Her brother, saw me and ran out into the road. Before Lucy could stop him he was halfway across, and about to get hit by a lorry. I ran as fast as i could to reach him before, he got knocked, and i managed to slightly push him far enough to not get injured badly. Then i felt it. I was hit. My ribs were crushed, as i was dragged about a few meters up the road.The pain was unbeliveable. I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer, and i was finding it hard to breath. All i wanted was Lucy, but the heartbreak from her made me slip into unconciousnes even more.....
