"Ugh!" I groaned as my vision clears. I blinked a few times and saw Brian next to me and Tim in front of me.
"Wh-what happened?" I asked, sitting up.
"You fell. Remember." Tim said, checking if I'm injured.
"What are they talking about?" I thought Standing up then I remembered.
"I was racing with them and I tripped. So what I saw was just a dream" I thought, looking down.
"Do you wanna play at the swings?" Tim asked, I nodded and smiled as we ran to the swings. After a while, we were just laying down under a tree and watching the clouds.
"I-its getting da-dark. W-we should g-go ho-home" Brian said, standing up as Tim and I stud up and stretched. Night time came. It was only me and Brian walking home and it was almost time for us to go our separate ways.
"(Y-y/n)? Ar-are you su-sure yo-you are al-alright?" Brian asked for the tenth time.
"I'm fine" I answered as we stopped at the doorstep.
"We-well. S-see ya (Y-y/n)" Brian said, walking away.
"Brian. Wait!" I said and he turned around.
"I had fun today. I hope we can do it again some time and thanks for walking with me. Goodnight Brian." I said, hugging him.
"Go-good ni-night (y/n)" Brian said, breaking from the hug. I waved to him and he did the same. I entered my house and noticed my parents aren't home. I walked to the kitchen and saw a note on the fridge.
"My sweetheart. Your father and I have left to see your aunt. Who recently got in a car accident. So we won't be home for a few days. We know your old enough to take care of yourself. So be careful and we bought your favorite food. It's in the fridge if you want to eat some. Sincerely, mom & dad"
I read the note and walked to my room, grabbing my sketch pad with all the with other drawings. I sat down and started to sketch the dream I saw earlier.
"Why do I have this kind of dreams?"
I thought to myself. After finishing my masterpiece. I started to get hungry so I walked down to the kitchen opened the fridge and took a piece of cheesecake. I walked to the living room turning on the TV and watched the news while grabbing a notebook and started sketching a picture of a boy on the news.
After drawing. I noticed the boy seem familiar. I studied the drawing trying to remember. I sighed and threw the notebook on the coffee table and the news showed the boy's picture again.
I looked at every detail of the picture. He has brown hair, pale skin, his sweat shirt was brown with different shades of brown on his sleeves and blue hood but mostly what caught my attention was his eyes was hazel color. I realized that he was an old classmate. He got bullied a lot of cause of his ticks and twitching.
"What was his name again?" I asked myself. I thought for a second and shook it off. I changed the channel then saw (fav. show) on. It started to get boring this was the first time I was ever alone in this house.
"I wonder what's Brian doing?" I thought to myself. I shook my head turning off the TV.
"I should sleep early so I can see my friends tomorrow." I thought to place my plate to the sink and walked up to my room and drifted to sleep on my bed.
~Time skip~
After washing my dishes. I heard a knock at the door.
"He-Hey (y/n)! Yo-you a-awake ye-yet?" Brian said from outside. I opened the front door and saw Brian.
"Morning Brian! Just wait a sec. I'm just going to grab my bag upstairs" I said, running up to grab my bag and ran back down.
"Let's go!" I said, closing the door behind me.
"Yo-you seems hy-hyper to-today," Brian said facing me.
"Well... I usually get hyper when I'm around someone... I like the most" I said almost whispering the word 'like'. I started blushing when I realized I actually liked someone.
"What's Brian thinking right now." I thought, glancing at him looking down at the ground. The rest of our walk was silent.
