Chapter 4, The Pills

Ali's pov

I look at the clock: 4:52
I put on my red vans and a red hoodie, i go and find Cameron and tell him to get ready. Turns out Cameron was ill so he didn't come. I texted max to tell him.
I got to the mills house.

"Hey!" Max said as he opened the door, we said hi back and walked in.
We sat down and decided to watch a movie.

"Um max where's harvey?" I said
"Um i dont know" he replied.
"I'll go look" i say getting up, "yeh ok" he said turning to watch the movie again.
I walk up the stairs and knock on the door, no one answers so i walk in. I see a light on in the bathroom, i walk in and peep my head in.
"Ahh!" Harvey screams as he shoves something into the cabinet.
"What are you doing?" I ask
"Ow um just..., brushing my teeth." He says stuttering.
"Yeah ok" i say, knowing full well that he's lying. What could he be hiding?

"Well im gonna go down you coming?" Harvey says opening the door.
"Nah i need the toilet I'll be down soon though." I say
"Ok" harvey says walking out the door. I didn't really need the toilet i just wanted to look in the cabinet. Should i?, It could be personal.

But i could help harvey, i took a deep breath then opened the door.

I grabbed the only thing in the cabinet. I read it:

Anti depressant pills,
Take one per day until doctor
Says otherwise.

Wait what!? Harveys depressed? How he always seems so happy. I put them back and 'flush the toilet'
I leave the room and walk into the living room were there all still watching the film. I smile and sit down.

Well that happened... k bye again. I spilt my irn bru im so sad.
