Chapter 13, A Girl

Ali's POV,

Ahhh Monday...my least favourite day.
Well..most peoples least favourite day.

I strolled my way into the school gates and sit next to ryan during coaching.

"Soo I'm having a sleepover Friday." Ryan says, still looking at the teacher.

"And?" I say playfully twirling my finger.

"You want to come?" He asks.

"Uhhh duh" I say.
He smiles and looks down at his notepad.

"What's that?" I ask.

"My check list," he says writing something down.

"What's it for?" I ask.

"Ow..uh..for those coming to the party..so I can get the food and stuff."
He says back.

I loved Ryan's sleepovers, he always bought loads of food and drink and his parents were never home.
He was also kinda rich...so ya now
Gold digger instincts.
I'm kidding...
I think.

The lunch bell went and I walked to the table.

"Hey" i said, earning me a few hey's
Back.

Max was sat there staring with his mouth wide open.
"Um..max what are you looking at?"
I ask. He doesn't look at me, he just continues to look in that direction.

"he's looking at a girl" Harvey chirps in.

"Not just any girl...an angel" max snaps back.

"He met..well..starred at her yesterday"
Harvey says taking a bite of his 'meat' burger. We're not sure if it's real meat or not.

"It was soo Romantic" he says emphasising the 'r'

Harvey chokes on his burger before adding "I wouldn't call poundland romantic, max"

"Ow.....it was" he says still staring.

"Ow I cant take this anymore just talk to her" chloe says.

Only now did max look back at us in disgust.
He then randomly starts giggling and banging his hand on the table.
"Yeh..like I'm going to walk up to an angel and just start talking to her." He says still giggling.

"Omg just do it" Cameron adds.

"Fine fine...if it'll shut ya all up"
Max says getting up.
Harvey looks at me, Cameron and chloe
And pulls a face of success.

I watch as max waddles over, he looked a bit like a penguin.
He stopped half way and started to walk back to the table.

"What..why'd you come back?" Harvey moans at max.

"She's....."

"She's soo what?" I ask

"Uhh" he moans sitting down.
He puts his head in his arms.

"Omg this is so sad to watch" ryan says standing up.

"Next time max....next time." Harvey says tapping Max's shoulder.

Harvey earns a big sigh from max which makes me giggle.
