Chapter 4

Claire P.O.V

(Few days later)

I was getting food with Eren, Mikasa, and Armin.

We ask got bread, but I'm allergic to one type of bread: Almond Bread.

I started behind because I needed to look for my father.

Once I found him, I need to ask him something.

I grabbed his shirt.

"Oh, Claire..... what is it."

I pointed to the boats.

"We'll be leaving in a few minutes."

I walk back to where I was before and I saw Eren, Mikasa, and Armin.

Eren gave me a piece of bread, and it smelled good.

I took a bit and swallowed it. I felt something wrong, my throat started to burn.

I got Eren, and Mikasa's attention.

I opened more of the bread and saw that it was Almond Bread.

I clenched my throat with my hands.

"CLAIRE!!! Armin, go get her father!" Eren yelled.

After a few seconds, father came.

"Who gave her Almond Bread?!" He asked.

Eren stepped forward. "I'm sorry sir, I didn't know she was allergic to it."

Father picked me up and took me the doctors tent.

I don't know that happened after.

~Time Skip~

I woke with a pain in my head.

I look around and don't see anyone, I don't even see father.

My eyes started to water.

Before I could cry, a doctor comes in.

"Good afternoon Claire."

I wave lightly.

"You can come in Commander." The doctor says.

Father walks in and when I see him, I want to get up, but he stops me.

"You ate almond bread, you need to rest so the infection will go away." Father says.

I shook my head and hugged father.

"I know, but we're on the boat and I need to go command my scouts, so I won't see you for a few days. This doctor will take care of you."

Tears came out of my eye. I shake my head again and hug him tighter.

He hugs me with the same amount.

He rubbed and patted my back, that always makes me fall asleep.

Once I feel back asleep. I was in a calm state.
