Claire P.O.V

I was getting ready to do my chores, but I heard a knock on our door.

I go to open it, but my mother stops me.

"Let me open it, you finish doing your chores." Mother said.

I was about to question it, but I nodded.

I left to pick up fire wood

~Time Skip~

It took me about an hour to get where I need to go.

Once I got there, I could see Eren and Mikasa.

I run up to then and wave.

"Oh, hey Claire... Long time no see, how've you been?" Eren asked.

I gave him a thumbs up.

"Hey, I was just taking to Mikasa about joining the Scouts. Would you like that?" Eren asked.

My eyes went big, I've never thought of the Scouts. It might be cool, but it's very dangerous. People get killed all the time.

Then all three of us hee a horn blowing, which means the Scouts are back.

I start running, with Eren and Mikasa behind me.

I look for my mother. Once I find her, I stand next to her.

I was so happy that they were coming back, because my father was one of the Scouts, he was the Commander: Erwin Smith.

Once I saw him at the front, I couldn't help but run to him. My mother couldn't stop me in time.

I dropped my fire wood and ran to my father's horses legs.

Once my father saw me, he learned over and picked me up.

"How are you my little cupcake.?" He asked.

I gave him a thumbs up.

"Well that's good. Have you been doing what your told?"

I nodded, but with a huge smile.

He started to smile to.

One of the Captains comes next to father.

"Commander, we have an important meeting to go to." He said
"Ah, yes" he turns his head to me. "Well, I'll see you tonight my sweet cupcake."

I nodded fast and hugged him tightly.

Father picked me up and handed me over to mother.

"I know you missed father, but don't run up to him like that again, ok?" Mother said, I little harshly.

I nodded sadly.

"Ann, don't be so hard on her, she just missed me, it's ok, but Claire, it is dangerous to do that."

I nodded again.

I was so happy that he returned home safely.
