Claire P.O.V

I was in my house cleaning the dishes with my mother.

"Claire, how about you go out and play" mother said.

I nodded my head.

I'm mute, I can't talk, I was born mute, but I can hear, so I know what people are saying.

I've never really had any friends because of my disability.

I was walking through our town in Wall Maria. I wanted to buy a new shirt that I saw the other day.

Once I got to the shop, I saw it.

I walked up to the clerk that was in charge.

"Hello Claire, what can I get for you?"

I pointed to the shirt.

He nodded, he grabbed the shirt and gave it to me, I gave him the right amount of money.

Once I was heading home, that's kids that I hated so much, came up to me.

"Watcha got there freak.?!"

I put the shirt behind my back.

"Now now, be nice and show us the shirt." The kid said, but more aggressive.

I pulled the shirt or and showed him. He yanked it out of my hands and was about to rip it.

I grabbed his arm to try and stop him, but he threw me off.

"Don't grab my you freak!." He yelled.

He was about to rip it, but then these kids who i didn't know, came running over.

"Lever her alone Jack!." Brown haired kid yelled.

He then punched Jack, a girl with black hair took on the other two.

~Time Skip~

After the short fight, the three bullies ran away crying.

"Here, let me help you."

I look up and see another boy with blond hair with his hand in front of my face. I took his hand and he helped me to my feet.

"You ok?" The boy with brown hair asked.

I nodded.

"Can you talk?" The girl asked.

I shook my head sadly, looking down.

"Well I'm Armin, this is Eren, and this is Mikasa. Want to be friends?" Armin asked.

I nodded my head.

We all talked together, but all I could do was nod.

I took then to my house and we had a great time.

First story.
