Kyungsoo
"Kyungsoo, hurry up! We have to go now!"
"Okay, I'm coming!" I looked around my almost-empty room to make sure I had everything I needed. The final box was sitting on my bed, which besides the other furniture in my room, was the only thing that had gone untouched when I first started packing. It felt weird knowing that I wouldn't be sleeping or hanging out with friends in there anymore. But, I remembered, that was the sacrifice I had to make in order to pursue my dreams.
So, with that in mind, I picked up the box and carefully carried it down the stairs. I saw my dad rearranging the other boxes in the car when I made it to the end of the staircase. My mom was in the living room by the front door, so I walked out to where she was.
"There's my superstar," my mom said as an excited smile grew on her face, making me blush faintly and roll my eyes.
"I'm not famous yet, mom. You might jinx it if you say anything now," I replied, setting the box down for a moment.
"There's nothing to jinx when you're naturally gifted," she said as she came closer to me, caressing my cheek with her hand. "I don't know what I fed you growing up to make you sing so well, but I'm glad I did." I just laughed, earning another smile from her before my dad walked in.
"Please tell me that's it," he said in a slightly out-of-breath voice. "I don't think we'll fit in the car at this point."
I scrunched my face up slightly and picked up the box. "Just one more and it's light, I swear," I said, clearly much to his dismay.
"Of course, it is," he said with a chuckle, sighing and walking to take it from me. "That's what you said about the last three."
"I love you, dad," I said, watching him as he headed to the door with the box. He quickly waved at me as he walked away, and I laughed as he caught the box before it fell.
"You sure you'll be okay staying there full time?" my mom asked, making me put my attention on her.
"Yes, I'll be okay." I nodded. "Besides, they're even covering room and board, so you should be celebrating."
She scoffed lightly. "As a mother, I will never fully celebrate one of my birds leaving the nest, even if it's saving me money," she said.
I smiled and took one of her hands. "I'll be just fine, mom. Maybe something good will come out of it. Maybe I'll become more extroverted."
"That's wishful thinking, honey," she teased, which made me laugh. "Alright, come on then. We'll seriously be late if we don't leave now."
"Okay," I said. I followed her over to the door and waited until she put her shoes on and walked outside to put mine on and do the same. I made sure to lock the door behind me. My mom and I got in the car right as my dad was closing the trunk. Once he was inside on the driver's side, he started the car up. I buckled myself in and looked out of the window, seeing my home slowly begin to disappear into the distance.

About two hours and three naps later, the car started to come to a stop in front of a huge building. When I say huge, I mean huge. It was made out of light grey brick and had tons upon tons of windows and doors embedded inside of it. It had to be at least four floors high. There were tons of people around, both students and parents, which made sense considering the semester officially started in three days.
"This is beautiful," my mom said in total awe as my dad parked the car and turned it off.
"Yeah," I agreed, elongating my voice. "And big. What if I get lost?"
