Epilogue

I finished putting my hair up, sighing I grabbed bag with everything I needed today.

I made my way downstairs to see my family, they didn't know what I was going to do today. The gave me weak smiles, they were all dressed up, I let out a shaky sigh and we made our way to the car. The boys were going to stay at the hospital with brick, apparently their was antidote X on the bullet but luckily brick's fine just healing slowly.

"Hey Blossom, you alright?" Buttercup asked me, I didn't realize we were already at the court house.

"Yeah, just zoned out a little bit." I explained and got out of the car. Everything kind of passed by in a blur that was till I was called to the stand, I swore to the bible that I'd tell the truth and nothing but the truth.

"So you were an actual victim to Rusty?" The lawyer asked.

"Yes..." I'm so embarrassed right now it's not even funny.

"Yet you're the leader of the powerpuff girl, you've been fighting since you were 5."

I rolled my eyes, "Yeah I am and I have been fighting that long, with my sisters. Your point to this whole thing?"

"How was Rusty able to physically hurt you if he's human with no superpowers and you were created with superpowers? Please explain it to me." I'm sick of people not thinking I'm human, I'm living and breathing aren't I?!

"Actual I have all the evidence I need, ever single ounce. Just like you I've been studying except mine isn't something you can search up in Wikipedia." I snapped.

I pulled out some files from my bag and stepped off the stand, "First off, Rusty isn't that different from my sisters, the rowdyruffs and myself. Except he didn't have the same traits as us, our eyes a bit bigger than the regular, our own personal color and that's what had me stumped. Rusty allowed me to take some of his blood to run some tests. It turns out he was injected with Nitrogen Acid, which is extremely similar to chemical X except if chemical X isn't part of your DNA and you take it you have to 'go' very badly. Nitrogen Acid is the opposite, it's like taking steroids but it doesn't mess up your insides and make up look super buff, you only get super strength." I explained.

"Is she telling the truth?" The judge asked Rusty.

He nodded, "I did allow her to take some of my blood and I never knew what I was injected with just that afterwards I was strong and my temper was short..."

"I guess you know what's going to happen next?" The judge asked him.

He nodded but before he could get a word out I spoke, "Actually I don't believe rusty should go to jail." Gasp went around the court room and everyone looked at me like I was insane, "Rusty was right I didn't know what he went through in his life so I learned. If anyone should to jail it's Dan, Rusty's older brother, who killed 4 students at my high school. Who beat his brother and taught him wrong, I think Rusty should go to a rehab, he needs real help and his brother can go to jail, not only for abusing his brother, killing 4 students but for also beating and killing Jenny Reynolds!"

"I did not kill her, my brother did!" Den shot up, he was silently sitting next to rusty till now.

I laughed humorlessly, "Oh you did to, it was true, your brother was dating Jenny but he was to 'soft' and you were full of danger so she cheated on Rusty to date you! She was a sweet girl, she still is even though she's passed on, she tried to cut it off with you because she was in love with Rusty but no you hit her! You liked the feeling of power and control, so you continued from that day on to abuse her!"

I was cut off by him, "OBJECTION!"

"Psh overruled!" The judge remarked, he was just as eager as everyone else in the court room, hanging on to everyone of my words.

"As I was saying, Jenny went to see Rusty on her birthday but you grew angry and jealous seeing them together, didn't you?" It was a rhetorical question, "So you spiked your brothers drink, enough to knock him out and you killed her! Then when he woke up he thought he killed her and told you, you made him leave town with you when he was going to tell the police!"

"So what if I did?! She was a dumb blonde anyway! Loving my brother, stupid move on her part!" He snapped.

"That's all I need to hear, take him away, rusty will be attending Townsville's rehab center."

"WAIT! I need to do two little things first!" I yelled and made my way to Dan, I slapped him across the face, "That's for calling me a B word and, "I slapped again, "That's for Officer Reynolds and her family!" With that they took him away, he was to stunned to do anything.

I made my way over to rusty, "Are you going to slap me to? Its okay if you do, I deserve it." While doing the test I was able to take out the Nitrogen Acid from his and his brothers body.

I laughed a little bit, "No, I'm not, I can hold a grudge but only for so long. I do wanna slap you but I won't, you had a screwed up past and I just want you to get better. I'm sorry for what I said before when you were in the police car and also I forgive you for what you did as long as you never do it again."

"I'm glad you said that to me, so don't say sorry and trust me I won't." I nodded and kissed his cheek, "Does this mean I still have a chance?"

"Not even close," I laughed, "Goodbye Rusty." They took him away and I made my way to my family, I sighed, "Lets go see brick."

Brick was asleep with his hand intertwined with mine. The door opened and I snapped my head towards it, using my empty hand and putting it to my lips and making a 'shh' sound.

Mitch came in and sat down next to me, "It's alright, he is a rowdyruff isn't he?"

I laughed lightly, "I guess you're right!" I said, still being quiet.

"You're playing with everyone's emotions, red." Mitch said.

"Why is that?"

"You keep kissing every guy I swear! At first I thought you liked me but then Rusty and now I'm confused!" He exclaimed.

"First off yours was to shut you up, I was going to slap you but I didn't. Secondly, it was a peck on the cheek and I was saying goodbye. I honestly only like brick!" I snapped back.

"You better!" I heard from behind us and suddenly I was in someone's lap.

"Brick?! How long were you awake?!"

"Long enough!" Brick replied while Mitch just laughed at my situation and left me, he did this on purpose!
