I didn't have any turtle necks so I just wore tight dark jeans, a dark red V-neck long sleeve and a dark brown scarf. I slipped on my dark brown high heel boot and applied make up to hide the evidence and placed on red lipstick.
"Blossom?" A knock came from the door, "You ready?" It was bubbles voice.
"Yeah I'm ready..." I whispered, I still couldn't talk very well and it felt excruciatingly painful.
I grabbed my backpack trying to gentle place it upon my shoulders. I made it downstairs, meeting my sisters outside, they smiled wearily at me and took to the sky leaving their original color behind. I sighed and followed them just flying slower considering I couldn't go very fast.
We landed as the bell rang making bubbles gasp and shoot to class, leaving a gust of wind behind in her place. "In no hurry?" Buttercup asked.
I just nodded my head, I didn't really feel like sitting through a lecture right now. She sighed, "Showing up may just up your grade a bit, I don't think I'd ever see the day you'd get a failing grade..." She stated as we made it to the door, walking inside.
I shrugged my shoulders, I didn't think their would ever be a day as well. I never wanted to see the day but here it was and I had no one to blame but myself. "Your throat hurt?" Buttercup asked, glancing at me in concern. I nodded, she was very bright I mean not Einstein bright but she still was amazing when she wanted to be.
"Feel better, alright? I'm gonna head to class, butch shares it with me." She explained, a twinkle in her eyes just mentioning Butches name. She ruffled my hair that was in a sloppy bun before she disappeared down the empty hall. I took her advice and headed to class, I really loved my sisters, they would always be there for me.
*Lunch*
Brick was no where to be seen at the lunch table, everyone else was there including Mitch, which actually made me smile till Logan made his way over to us, slinging his arm around my sore shoulders. Everyone ate excluding me, making my tummy rumble quietly and making me feel like something was clawing and ripping it appart. My sisters and friends all had a secret smile as if they knew something I didn't. Logan kissed my cheek, "I'll be back." He whispered in my ear with his minty fresh breath.
I nodded silently and he left the cafeteria. All of a sudden a guitar started making me turn around, see brick, he smiled lightly at me before the words left his lips like silk, smooth and soft but manly as well.
Hey, girl, you know you drive me crazy, one look puts the rhythm in my hand. Still I'll never understand why you hang around, I see what's going down.
Cover up with makeup in the mirror
tell yourself, it's never gonna happen again. You cry alone and then he swears he loves you.
Do you feel like a man when you push her around? Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground? Well, I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's gon' to end, as your lies crumble down, a new life she has found.
People started cheering but I couldn't hear it, I could only hear his voice and my heart pounding in my chest. I knew I had tears streaking down my face but I hurry and tried to wipe them away before someone noticed.
A pebble in the water makes a ripple effect, every action in this world will bear a consequence. If you wade around forever, you will surely drown
I see what's going down.
I see the way you go and say you're right again, say you're right again
Heed my lecture.
Do you feel like a man when you push her around? Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground? Well, I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's gon' to end, as your lies crumble down, a new life she has found
Face down in the dirt, she said, "This doesn't hurt," she said, "I finally had enough."
Face down in the dirt, she said, "This doesn't hurt," she said, "I finally had enough."
One day she will tell you that she has had enough. He's coming round again.
Do you feel like a man when you push her around? Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground? Well, I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's gon' to end, as your lies crumble down, a new life she has found
Do you feel like a man when you push her around? Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground? Well, I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's gon' to end, as your lies crumble down, a new life she has found
Face down in the dirt, she said, "This doesn't hurt," she said, "I finally had enough."
