Cheryl's POV

My dad took me and betty shopping. He would do this every few months, if our report card comes back good.

I remember one time Betty got on bad grade in one of her classes he didn't allow her to go. His sister, Alice, tried begging him but he wouldn't budge.

From then betrayed sure her grades were over the top. Every time they were.

My dad was always proud of us.

We were walking in the mall. I spotted Toni across from across the mall.

"She's everywhere." I huffed. My dad rubbed my back.

"She does live in Riverdale. Girly." He chuckled, wrapping his arms around me and Betty.

"Uncle Clifford is right. She does live in Riverdale. I'm sure she'll be everywhere." Betty pipes in.

I nodded, sadly, it's bad enough I have to see her at school and after school.

Next day at school.
Toni's POV.

I slowly made my way to the room where Cheryl and I study.

"Okay. So what is it today?" She asked. I took that time to look in her beautiful light brown eyes. I didn't realize I was staring until Cheryl snapped me out my daze.

"Toni? Toni!" Cheryl said. I jumped up.

"Huh? What did you say?" I asked.

"I said, What do you need help with today?" She repeated.

"Oh. Um. I need help finding quadrant 1,2,3,4 then graph them." I explained. She nodded.

"Quadrant 1 is in the top right corner. That's where the positive slope is." She explained again.

I wasn't even listening to anything she was saying. I was just taking in her beautiful features.

"Toni? Are you even listening?" She huffed.

"Yes. Yes, of course." I breathe out.

"What did I say then?" She raised a brow.

I shrugged, " I don't fucking- oh yeah I wasn't listening. Ugh, whatever." I said.

"How am I supposed to tutor you if you're staring into space every 5 minutes." She huffed.

"I'm not staring into space, I'm staring at you," I whispered to myself.

"What?" Cheryl asked.

"Nothing. Let's just finished this." I shrugged, my shoulder grazing Cheryl's by accident.

I looked down with a blush. Cheryl cleared her throat, pushing her glasses up.

The rest of the day went by in a huge blur.
