Attack After Attack

I'm headed straight for the castle

They wanna make me their queen

I open my eyes slowly and look around, I'm in my room. Loki's sitting in a chair, Steve is standing in the doorway, and Tony and Clint are outside.

I sit up slowly and blink a few times. Loki immediately rushes to my side and holds me steady. The quick rustling startles Steve and he calls Tony and Clint inside.

"(Y/n) are you alright?"

"I... I don't know..."

"What happened?"

"Tony... he was screaming... the spell..."

I let my eyes close and leaned against Loki. I could hear his racing heartbeat and feel the tension in his body.

"Rest."

I heard footsteps and felt Loki try to get up but I wrapped my arm around him.

"Stay..."

I heard (y/n) whisper to Loki weakly. I wish I could stay with her. Tony and Steve were talking back and forth. Then Natasha, Thor, and Bruce ran up to us.

They spoke frantically about what happened and asked questions we couldn't answer. We only had a small window to breathe before we were sent alert of a mission. We needed to rest but we don't have time.

"(Y/n) is in no condition to fight. We should leave her here."

"What about Loki?"

"We should leave him too. Someone needs to make sure she's alright..."

"Loki isn't the best person for that."

"We don't have time to argue."

It was decided that Loki would stay and we had to go.

(Y/n) leaned against me and held me so I had no choice but to stay. I could hear the other three come and then hear them all argue before sweet silence. They had a mission.

At first I wanted to wake up (y/n) but I know she is no condition to fight. I hope they do alright without the two of us.

I moved (y/n) so she was laying down. If I tried to move away she gripped me tighter so I gave up. If (y/n) wants something, she'll get it.

I sighed softly and felt (y/n)'s heartbeat match mine. This is nice... just the two of us relaxing. But I don't deserve this... plus the whole team likes her, I shouldn't take her for myself.

(Y/n) twitched a bit in my arms and I found that strange. She doesn't usually twitch or jerk. Maybe a weird dream.

I drifted to sleep, gripping to Loki and feeling his arms wrapped around me. I opened my eyes and noticed Vision took his place. I let a smile creep onto my face.
