Can't look away, can't look away
Beg you to stay, beg you to stay

I froze on the spot on felt my breath hitch, I could run again. Leave the compound and just disappear...

I felt a hand on my shoulder and with a flick of my hand forced it away with my powers. The second I did that I felt a pang through my chest and I doubled over.

"(Y/n)! C'mon let's go to the medical center."

"(Y/n) I know you don't want to face me, but I can help you."

I turned to face Vision and the tears started to fall again. I walked to him and slapped him across the face. He grunted and met my gaze. I had nearly forgotten how hypnotizing his eyes were.

"You are going to Leave. Me. Alone!"

I pushed him away and turned to keep walking.

"You're bleeding internally, you're dying as we speak. There isn't anything the medical center or the labs can do for you. Unless you let me help you."

I froze on the spot. So that's why it seems as though I'm losing blood. Why... what happened to me...

I turned around and stared at Bruce and Vision. How does he know?

"What can you do that the labs can't?!"

"I can assist in controlling your powers to heal and stabilize yourself."

I shut my eyes and shook my head, there has to be something else... someone else who can help me.

"I don't want your help!"

"(Y/n) think about this, if he can help and we can't..."

I opened my eyes and looked at Bruce who was basically pleading to let Vision help me. It hurt to see my friend like that. I'm unstable... I don't have a choice.

"Fine."

Vision and Bruce visibly eased up. I sighed heavily and walked with Vision back to my room. I shut the door and looked back at him, my eyes full of tears.

"I know you don't want to see me-"

I rushed at him and wrapped him into a tight hug, I cried into his chest as he hugged me back.

"It's not that I don't want to see you. I just..."

I pulled back.

"You weren't real at the time..."

"Precisely. And I couldn't tell you how to find me because if you found the wrong cradle there could've been consequences."

"Worse than Tony and Bruce making a world-destroying murder bot?"

We both chuckled and I wiped my tears.

"Sorry I slapped you."

"It's alright. Let's work on stabilizing you."

"Why am I bleeding and dying like this? I don't remember anything happening..."

"Well you remember when you fell and heard a crack?"

"Y-yea..."

"That crack was your bones. You stabilized at the time but some pieces tore into your organs."

"The nurses said-"

"They couldn't see it. But you're losing time as we speak."

I sat on my bed and Vision sat infront of me. He talked to me about using my new healing and sensory powers with my seclusion and telekinesis to find where there are ruptures, remove the bone shards, seclude them, and heal them.

It didn't seem possible, if the nurses and doctors overlooked them I feel as though I will as well...

"Remember in the lab your haze turned red from lilac?"

"Yea..."

"Different colors look for different sizes. You could see the stone when your haze turned red. You need to focus on making it so you can see any possible size."

I nodded slowly and let my eyes close, focusing on my sensory. When I opened my eyes again everything was covered in a lilac haze. I could see the dagger and gun and Vision clearly.

"How do I change the size of what I can see?"

"I'm not sure..."

I rolled my eyes and closed them. Thinking of the size of the stone on Vision's forehead. Thinking of minuscule things, like seeds or grains of rice.

When I opened my eyes everything was in a green haze, I could see tiny cracks and indents in the wall. When I looked down at myself I could see a strange white outline of what looked like my bones. When I looked back up I could see the power embedded in the stone on Vision's forehead.

It seemed to call to me... almost like an old friend. I shook the thought and let my eyes close as I thought of my body. I could see minuscule shards of bones in my lungs, heart, stomach, and pretty much everywhere. Vision was right.

"I can see the shards. I don't know what to do know..."

"Focus on one at first, it's best to start small. Seclude it, remove the shard, and then heal. It will hurt, a lot."

"When is anything ever easy?"

He chuckled and so did I. Then I tried to find one that seemed a little bigger than the rest so it would be easier. There was one that was maybe a tiny bit bigger than a grain of rice lodged in my side. I took a deep breathe and then secluded it. It felt weird to use my powers... inside myself.

Once secluded I used my telekinesis to pull it free, I let out a high pitched squeal from pain. He wasn't kidding. Now the hard part is finding where this goes so I can heal the bone.

"How do I find where each shard goes?"

"There is no shortcut in healing."

"Are you serious? I have to look around aimlessly?"

"Well look around the bones where the shard was located. Don't forget to heal where you took the shard from."

"Oh right."

I healed my side as I searched for where this little shard went. Eventually I found its place on my ribs. I put it where it should be then healed the bone. I opened my eyes slowly.

"That took... so long!"

"There is no shortcut. If I could I would assist, but I can't. You have to do this."

"Yeah I'm very aware. There's no way the medical center could do this... the shards are tiny, it's hard for me to find them."

Then we both went silent for just a second before speaking in unison.

"What if we could project my/your power to a machine to do it for me/you?!"

Then we doubled over in laughter.

"But would that work?"

"I mean it's worth a shot."

"I thought you said there's no shortcuts in healing."

He stared at me in disbelief and I sat with a smug smile.

"Either way we need to find Bruce and Tony."
