Nami was born in Brooklyn, New York on Christmas day. Both her parents were immigrants with her mother being German and her father being Korean. She had a pretty good life growing up, she was popular and pretty, and her parents had stable jobs.
Life was pretty good until a fatal car accident killed her mother. Her father was left with Nami and her 3 brothers. In a struggle to get everything together, her father made the decision to move back to Korea where they lived in a small apartment in Seoul.
