My stomach lurches at the sight of her, my vision is clouded with memories I thought I lost.
Here she is, next to her.
Abelle is speaking to my Alex in a very animated manor, as she usually does. She speaks with her hands moving all over the place. I used to call her Jazzy, as her hand movements reminded me of jazz hands.
I contemplated running out of the clubhouse and never coming back, maybe I could start somewhere new. Man up, Pussy.
I shove my hands in my jean pockets and slowly creep my way over to where Alex is.
Abelle notices my appearance over Alex's shoulder, she perks up.
Alex turns her head to find what suddenly stole Abelles attention, her eyes darted between mine.
"Pierce!" Abelle squealed in her familiar accent.
She hopped out of her seat and threw her arms around me, her warm scent shot me through the chest. Alex kept her eyes focused on me, and I returned the contact.
I took hold of Abelles arms that were choking me and lowered them to her side.
"Abelle, always a pleasure." I smiled.
I took a seat next to Alex, trying not to be obvious.
Alex turned towards me, "Where were you?" She whispered.
Katrinas naked body flashed through my thoughts for a split second, "Had to run a errand."
I was disappointed in myself, I just hoped she didn't know that. I wanted Alex to look at me with pride, I wanted her to know how much she meant to me; but she doesn't.
She nodded and sunk down into the chair, letting a few stray hairs fall in her face.
"So, how long have you two known each other?" Abelle asked, leaning forward and propping her head in her hands.
"Awhile, I guess." I looked between both Abelle and Alex, their eyes burning a hole on my face.
"Yeah, we're friends." Alex looked away from me and smiled at Abelle.
Friends. We were just friends.
That word by itself hurt my head.
"Oh.." Abelle stood up. "So you won't mind in I steal him for a moment?" She asked, but it was more of a demand.
"No, not at all." Alex waved her hands.
I gave Alex a look, she ignored me.
She didn't know about Katrina, so I don't know what's set her off.
Before I could question, Abelle was pulling me off in another direction to 'talk'.

Alex's POV
Pierce must think I am the stupidest person to walk the earth. Nobody goes on an 'errand' and returns with a hickey on his neck. Motherfucker isn't slick.
I'm not going to walk around here looking like a damn fool because he thinks I don't know what's going on, but I do.
I've been clueless as to think Pierce would put all that aside for me.
As I was wrapped up in my thoughts, I hadn't even realized Grim had taken a seat beside me.
"Alex?" He asked, looking at me with a confused expression.
"Huh?" I lifted my head, tucking my hair behind my ears.
He gave a deep laugh, pushing his hair out of his eyes, "I asked why you looked upset."
I guess i'm not the greatest at hiding my emotions, but who is?
"Oh, it's nothing, just a bit tired." I crossed my legs, and straightening my posture.
"I know somethin' that might wake you up." Grim said barely above a whisper. His eyes searched my face and were darting from my lips to my eyes.
I knew Grim wasn't dangerous, at least I thought so. Maybe he could be fun, just for the night at least.
I looked over towards the direction Abelle and Pierce went, they were nowhere to be found.
I returned my attention to Grim, "I'm bored. Fancy a walk?"
A few minutes later, Grim and I were walking aimlessly down the road away from the clubhouse; both us us sharing random details about each other. Grim had revealed how he received the name 'Grim': the other members teased him about how 'grim' it was that his appearance appealed to a young Mick Jagger.
I thought it was cute.
"Okay, I shared something, your turn." Grim nudged me with his arm. I stayed silent for a few moments, the sound of our shoes against the pavement filled the air.
"Well, i've always wanted a tattoo." I laughed, cheeks turning red.
Grim stopped in his tracks, a laugh escaped his lips, "Really?"
I nodded my head, the breeze blowing against both of us.
"Then let's do it." He grabbed my hand and pulled me back towards the clubhouse.
"Now?"
"Yeah, why not?"
