The Imada Family

Kanchi had a successful job as an CEO of an technology company.His wife,Kirara,worked as his assistant. They were always busy and didn't get to see their son,Uta,that often. Uta was usually alone at home. He wondered what it felt like to be surrounded by his family 24/7.Uta was deep in thought as he was home,hanging with Hijo and Tsuyo.
"Uta,are you alright?"Hijo asked.
Uta spoke,"Yeah. Just in deep thought."
His parents were about to leave for work.
"We're leaving son."Kanchi says.
Kirara added,"Have fun with your friends."
They left as the kids watched them leave. Uta let out a sigh.
"I probably won't see them until tomorrow."Uta said.
Hijo replied,"It can't be that bad. Maybe being alone isn't a bad thing."
"What are you saying?It is a bad thing."Uta groaned.
Tsuyo shrugs,"I don't know,being alone in peace sounds promising."
"Yeah,I can't imagine how it would be without eight other people in my house."Hijo sweated.
Uta mumbled,"Whatever.....you don't know how it feels."
"If you're going to be moody about it,then we can show you how we live."Tsuyo suggests.
Uta asked,"You want me to go and visit your families?"
"Sure,maybe you wouldn't feel as bad after you experience our lives."Hijo says.
Uta sighed,"Fine......let's go."
"We're going to my house first!"Tsuyo declared.

He took Hijo and Uta to his house and lead them inside. His whole family were home,as they walked into the living room.
"Hey Tsuyo,you're in time to watch the game."Kuma said.
Tsuyo replied,"I have friends over."
"That's great! They can join."Kuma grinned.
They sat down to accompany Kuma,while watching a football game on tv. Uta thought it was a bit intense as Kuma and Tsuyo cheered every time the winning team scored. Uta sighed and got up,"I'll be right back....."
"I'll come with you."Hijo followed him.
They went into the kitchen,to see Yuka doing the dishes.
"Hello boys,I see Tsuyo invited you over."Yuka spoke.
Hijo nods,"Yeah.....we're taking a break from watching the game."
"It's a bit too much you,isn't it?"Yuka questioned.
Uta asked,"How did you know? I mean......I guess."
"It's alright. Sometimes Kuma and Tsuyo get out of hand when it comes to sports,but I'm used to it."Yuka stated.
Uta asks,"Need help with that?"
"I'm fine.It's my job to do this,"Yuka says.
Uta said,"No,we can help."
"Alright,get at it."Yuka replied.
Uta and Hijo do the dishes for Yuka. After they were done,they cleaned up.
"Why did we have to do that? I always have to do this at home,"Hijo complained.
Uta shrugs,"I wanted to help. My parents usually do the dishes for me."
"Lucky....."Hijo mumbled.
Saku noticed them and asked,"Um......hi. Could you guys do me a favor? You guys are smarter than my bro......no offense."
"Sure......."Hijo sweats.
They follow Saku into her room. She showed them her homework.
"I need help with this assignment. I can't figure out all the problems."Saku sweats.
Uta says,"We can help."
They helped Saku solve problems from her homework. Hours passed as they finished.
"Thanks for helping me....."Saku smiled.
Uta nods,"No problem."

They left her room and went to Tsuyo.
"There you guys are,you missed the game."Tsuyo says.
Hijo sweats,"It's ok......"
"I think I'm ready to go to Hijo's."Uta stated.
Tsuyo said,"I've been there a few times. This is your first time,right?"
Uta nodded.
Tsuyo smirked,"Good luck. You're gonna need it,"
After they left Tsuyo,Uta followed Hijo to his home. They went inside.
"Tsuyo's family was a little much......"Uta groaned.
Hijo sweated,"Aw geez......I was hoping you wouldn't say that. Wait until you experience my family."
They looked around and noticed Hijo's parents were in the kitchen.
"Hi mom. Hi dad."Hijo greeted.
Keita replied,"Hey,you brought a friend over."
"We're busy cooking dinner right now. We would talk more if it wasn't for this."Inaho sweated.
Hijo says,"It's ok.....I'll just take Uta to my room."
They left and passed by the living room. Hijo noticed it was unusually quiet and seen Jibanyan sleeping on the couch. He tapped her shoulder,as she woke up.
"Hey.......where's my cousins?"Hijo asks.
Jibanyan yawned,"Huh? I don't know. I finished my chores for the day. Let me sleep....."
"Wait no-"Hijo was cut off by Jibanyan,who fell back to sleep.
Hijo groaned in annoyance.
"Why did you need her?"Uta asked.
Hijo sweats,"The thing is......if my cousins aren't with her....."
They go to Hijo's room,as he said,".......they're in my room."

On cue,Hijo's cousins were running around in the room he and his sister had to share with them.
"Guys! What are you doing?!"Hijo panicked.
Chipyon says,"We're playing!"
"I told you not to touch my stuff!"Hijo nags.
As he approached them,they ran around.
"Uta,you gotta help me chase them!"Hijo demanded.
Uta sweats,"Um.....alright."
They started to chase Hijo's cousins around. Minutes passed as they stopped and gave up. They were out of breath and decided to sit down.
"How do you live with this.....?"Uta asked.
Hijo,sighs,"I just do......."
"Does this happen everyday?"Uta questioned.
Hijo says,"Almost everyday......"
"Why do you share a room with all the kids?"Uta replied.
Hijo groaned,"Because......my parents,aunt,and uncle agreed to it. They thought it would be best for all of us to share one room."
"This room is pretty huge......but.....this is still too much."Uta sweats.
Hijo frowned,"Now you know how I feel."
Suddenly,the door bursted open,to reveal Shinko.
"Hey guys! Dinner's ready!"Shinko blurted out.
Ainyan and Hoshinyan cheered,"Yay!"
They ran out of the room with Shinko.
Chipyon dashed to door,as she saw her dad passing by.
"Daddy!"Chipyon clings onto his leg.
Usapyon says,"Hi dear."
He looked up at Hijo and Uta,then saw the mess in the room.
"I........don't want to know what happened here."Usapyon sweats.
Hijo shook his head,"No,you really don't....."
They got up and followed Usapyon and Chipyon to the kitchen.
"Hey Uta,want to stay for dinner?"Keita asked.
Uta sweats,"Please.....no thank you.I've had enough."
"Are you sure?"Inaho asks.
Uta says,"No.....it's ok."
Hijo lead Uta to the front door and whispered,"I'm sorry about my family."
"It's ok.....and.....you're right. I'm lucky to be alone."Uta whispers back.
An hour later,Uta was relieved to be back home. He decided to lay in his bedroom. Later on,his parents were home. They checked on him,to see Uta sleeping.They smiled as they knew that Uta was ok. Uta was just happy for the family he has and didn't wish for anything more.
