NOTE: The story of this part is from 'Pups Save An Idiot' by DandyAndy1989 in deviantart. Although, I made it something different. Connor is only present at brief moments in this part.

It's 12PM and Connor and the pups had a watch of Ryder's new flying pack. After testing his pack, he removed it from his back and leave it in the Lookout

Ryder: There. Just in case you're needed.

Connor's stomach growled, even Rubble.

Connor: Ugh, I'm hungry. What do you say if we're ready to go to lunch?

Rocky: Yep. I'm hungry too. You ready to go to lunch now, Ryder?

Rubble: Come on! I've been meaning to try Mr. Porter's new pasta menu all week!

Connor: A spaghetti? Oh, my favorite!

Ryder: Coming, pups!

Just as they left, Danny went inside.

Danny: Hello? Ryder? Pups?

But there was no answer.

Danny: Hmm...guess they're not here.

He went up the elevator and found Ryder's new pack.

Danny: Whoa. Is this what Ryder was flying with? No wonder it looked like he had Skye's wings all of a sudden.

He thought about what it would be like if he had it.

Danny: With this new pack, I, Daring Danny X, will become the new hero of Adventure Bay! I'll be like its own Apollo the Super Pup.

With that said, he took the pack and declared.

Danny: Fear not, Adventure Bay! I will protect you!

He was flying around with the wings on and saw that Everest and Jake were collecting firewood in the forest.

Danny: Ah! Jake and Everest need a hand. Luckily, their new hero will assist them."

Of course, he was jumping to conclusions. Or rather, soaring to them.

Everest: Got another good one for you, Jake.

Jake: Good job, Everest. This'll keep us nice and toasty this winter.

They got reports that the coldest winter in the history of Adventure Bay was coming their way. And they wanted to be ready. Just then, Danny showed up and announced.

Danny: Here I am to assist!

Everest: Danny?

Danny: That's Daring Danny X

He corrected (for the umpteenth time).

Everest: Right. Uh, Daring Danny X, why are you flying like that?

Danny: I am now Adventure Bay's new hero!

Jake: Wait, what?

Danny: Watch! Chainsaw!

He activated the chainsaw and did a little deforesting. He chopped down a few trees and he shouted.

Danny: TIMBER!

Everest and Jake got out of the way in time, almost getting crushed by the lumber that Danny presented them with.

Jake: That was way too close!

Danny: Now you've got all the firewood to last you for the next ten winters. And now, I'm off!

Before he cold properly do that, he flew right into a tree.
