I open my eyes to find myself tucked in my bed, knitting needles and scarves beside me on my bedside table. I yawn and stretch my back, hearing some satisfying pops and get out of bed. I don't have any other clothes so I always sleep in the ones I have. I've wore the same clothes for eons now, every time I need to make a new item of clothing it looks exactly the same as the old one.
My room is pretty comfy. The room changes to the interests of each monster so naturally the walls and ceiling look like a galaxy. It's like visiting OuterTale without actually going there, I still prefer actually visiting OuterTale though. Seeing the stars in person is calming. My bedside table is black and the legs are red that fade to yellow, same thing with my dresser, though I don't have much use for a dresser.
My closet has the same walls and ceiling as the room itself and the coat rack bar thing, never found out what they were called, is red with yellow and black stripes. My bed is black, at least the frame is, my mattress is normal and my pillow is red. My blankets and sheets are two stripes of black on the outside, followed by a stripe of red on each side, followed by a stripe of yellow in the middle.
I hear someone enter my room and immediately whirl around, strings at the ready.
"Easy. It's just me." Blue says as he sees me about to attack.
"BlUe?" I ask. "WhY aReN't YoU rEsTiNg?"
"We're all okay now Error. I healed everyone after we all woke up. We found you asleep on the couch with your knitting needles and scarves. Nightmare figured out you must've patched us up then fallen asleep making scarves for us. Makes sense since you said knitting can make you tired." Blue says.
I nod in agreement as I pick up my knitting needles and summon my string. Ten minutes later I'm done with Killer's scarf and Blue has left the room. I get to work on Horror's scarf. This one will take me a long time. All of the scarves are naturally long cause all scarves that Sanses wear are but I want Horror's to be unique.
Meanwhile, Nightmare has called a meeting in the living room. As soon as he notices everyone was in the living room, everyone except Error, he begins the meeting. "Blue? Where's Error." He asks.
"He's in his room knitting." Blue replies. "I'm pretty sure he won't come out until all of the scarves are finished."
Nightmare hums in agreement. "As expected." He says. His tentacles twitch as he remembers the panic attack Error had. "We all know Error treated us for our injuries. We also know he is making scarves for us." He says.
"Does he even have any other clothes of his own?" Cross asks. "I've never seen him wear anything other than his everyday clothes and when I looked in his dresser and closet the dresser was empty and the closet was being used for his puppets. Even we have other clothes even though they look exactly the same as the ones we're wearing now."
"That's true." Blue says. "It's obvious his outfit has been repaired by him several times. I can see where he's stitched his sweater and jacket and sometimes his shorts and slippers. It's like he feels like he deserves to suffer."
"He once told me he heard voices in the Anti-Void." Horror says. "Maybe the voices are harmful. Maybe they're the reason why Error isn't taking care of himself properly."
"Well then we're going to make him take care of himself." Nightmare says. "He's done so much for us. Now it's time we do something for him."
