For the next remaining days, Ariel mostly by himself was preparing for the birthday party performance.
There were two songs from ON /OFF for the "Vampire Knight" anime. What about Alex? He is not the person to waste the time for such things. He was just coming to Ariel's room by the evening to ask about the progress and any update on the performance as well as to hear a summary of the anime because for him to watch this was a too lame and even bigger waste of time when he could spend it hanging out with few friends he had and causing more troubles in the neighbourhood.
Ariel was the more nerdy type of person who studies hard and takes everything seriously, sometimes too seriously maybe. After school, he was even helping father with his work twice a week instead of spending some time like Alex and do what most teenage boys do at this age. Ariel was a big brother and a more mature and serious person for some reasons, opposite of Alex.
One day when Ariel was going home from father's workplace and listening to songs he had to learn and perform for the birthday party, he heard someone calling for Alex. He ignored it and continued walking until someone grabbed his arm and stopped him. He turned quickly in a defensive manner anticipating that someone maybe attacking him, but was surprised to see Dimona holding his arm and out of breath with a faint smile on her face. He turned off the music and pulled his earphones out.
"Oh, Dimona, nice to see you," said Ariel rather annoyed than happy.
"Alex, I have been calling you for ages. Didn't you hear me? Why are you alone? Where is Ariel? It's rare to see you alone" she was talking rather enthusiastically and cheerfully ignoring the rather not pleasant look on Ariel's face. Ariel hated when he was mistaken for his troublemaker brother.
