She was sitting next to him, the fear in her eyes grew bigger with every aggressive cough that left his now bluish lips. She gently tapped cloth over the young man's forehead which was covered with pearls of sweat.
Eunbyul did an amazing job with treating Mingi's wound but that wasn't enough. Few minutes after the trio thought that everything was okay Mingi started shivering and coughing blood. That meant only one thing, the blade of the enemy soldier must have been poisoned.
"Hold on Mingi, Yunho and Taeyang should be there any moment," the princess whispered to the man lying in her lap. Her hot tears were falling down on his face.
"Don't cry princess," Mingi coughed again and then gave her a weak smile, "I'm going to be okay."
"Of course you are going to be okay!" Eunbyul sobbed again, her throat hurt as she was trying to hold her tears back. "Don't you dare leave me here alone. You would break Yunho's heart!"
"The emperor will be mad at me for making you cry..." Mingi turned his head away from her body and looked the way where the royal palace was.
"That's nonsense Mingi!" She grabbed his head gently and turned it so that he was looking her way again. "Shush, you should be quiet. Don't talk please," she begged him and he did as she wished. Yunho, where are you? Mingi needs you! Please please please, make it in time...

Big chunks of snow were flying everywhere as the mare was running through the frozen landscape which looked like a painting. The white blanket which was covering everything was glittering in the midday sun. It was a mesmerising sight with which Jongho fell in love the first day he was ordered to move to the camp in the mountains a few months ago.
He made his mare stop near the frozen lake which was buzzing with life during the sunny season. Children from near village loved to play there during summer days. He knew that because he also used to be the same when he was younger. This part of the empire was Jongho's birthplace, a place where he was happily growing up until that one year.
. . .
He was in his late teens when he was forced to leave his family and enter the royal palace as a soldier. Thanks to his nature no one could tell that he didn't join the court willingly. He was the quiet lone wolf. Whenever he could Jongho did train by himself in the hope that he could return back to his home if he got good enough.
It was late afternoon when Jongho entered the garden near an abandoned part of the palace. His training sword was swiftly piercing the air, making the oddly satisfying sound. The drops of sweat ran down his face and his body while the youngster was slightly panting. The sun was kissing his glittering skin, Jongho looked like golden statue bathing in the rays of the light. The perfectly shaped figure and muscular body was his pride.
