Kat chest rise her eyes flutter open to the sound of beeping. "Kat, baby girl." Renee says catching her youngest daughter attention.
"Mom...." Kat voice strained. "Where's Bella? Is she okay? Where's..... he? Where's Jasper?" Kat asked just wanting to know about the two most important people in her life.
Renee smiles at daughter. "Bella is okay. She just woke up a hour ago. Edward is with her. I came here to wait to you wake up." Renee exclaimed before gesture towards Jasper and Rosalie who pretend to be sleep in a chair in the corner of the hospital wall room. "Jasper and Rosalie are asleep. They never left your side. It's sweet and your dad is down in the cafeteria." Renee adds smiling as she stroked her little girl hair.
"What happened?" Kat asked she look at Jasper and Rosalie slightly smiling. She knew they had to lie for the safety of their secret.
"Well when you fell you broke your arm and lost a lot of blood." Renee says causing Kat to have flashes of James throwing her into shattering glass making her right arm break and him breaking Bella leg before bit her and Edward sucking the venom out of her as Rosalia's holds her and Jasper helping the others kill James. Kat looks at her mother confuse. Which Renee notice. "You don't remember any of this do you?" Renee questioned making Kat shake her head. "Well do you remember that time in 6th grade you puked all over that crush of yours?" Renée tease her daughter.
"Mom." Kat whines.
"What was his name?" Renee tease smiling at her youngest daughter.
"Ugh." Kat groans with an eye rolled.
"Okay seriously. Jasper and Edward came down with their dad and Rosalie to try to convince you and Bella to come back to Forks. So you guys went over to their hotel and you tripped....." Renee trials off with bubbly eyes at the thought of losing her daughters. "And fell down two flights of stairs.....and you went through window!" Renee exclaim as a tear slip.
"Yeah maybe Bella rub off on me. Clumsiness is contagious." Kat tried lighten the mood making Renee smile.
"Or maybe your just as clumsy as her." Renee tease playing with her daughter hair and Renee phones starts to vibrate the crazy. "Oh honey I'm sorry." Renee says as she checks her phone. "It's Phil he's so worried about you and Bella."
"You're texting?" Kat chuckles as she watch her mom reply.
"Finally yeah. I told him to stay in Florida. Oh baby you and Bella are gonna love Jacksonville. It's sunny everyday and we found the cutest little house and you and Bella got your own bathroom." Renee says but cut off by Kat.
"No mom. I still wanna live in Forks." Kat sternly says.
"What! That's the same thing Bella said." Renée said to her daughter.
