chapter 4

Ashley's p.o.v

"So where yall wanna go next?" Xavier ask pulling into a McDonald's parking lot. "Well I guess since were here we can get sum from here." Damarcus suggested. "Ight that's all cool but who paying?" I say getting everybody to look at me.

" well I paid last time so I'm difiently not paying." Terrel says pulling out his phone.

"Ight I'll pay let's go." Jazmin says getting out the car. We all get out and take our seats in the restaurant. We tell jazmin our order and she gets the food for us.

I look at the door and this tall man walks in with a black hoodie on. He has a built figure and for some reason he looks familiar.

"Dont you think your staring kinda hard ash?" Brittany wishphers laughing alittle bit. "Yeah maybe he just looked familiar."

"EVERYBODY ON THE FLOOR THIS IS A ROBBERY!!" I hear a deep man voice scream. Nobody at our table does what he says but Xavier runs out to the car (hes suppose to hes not scary).

I look over to where I see that man I saw before, but he has his hood off. I look at brittany, brittany looks at me. "jamaal." We say at the same time. He looks over at me and my table and smirks.

I look over at damarcus. "Who is that guy?" He pulls out his beeda. "Chill no need to worry, hes brittany ex. He wouldnt hurt any of us." I say taking his beeda.

"Well is he in a gang too?" Terrel ask. "Yea hes the gang leader of the TIL." I answer. "THE TIL?!?!? They're the most wanted gang in Brooklyn." Terrel overreacts. "Well beside us." Jazmin says.

I kinda forgot that we were in a robbery. "Ight so here's what were gonna do brittany and Ashley is gonna talk to him because they know him, me and terrel are gonna be on stand by just in case sumthing goes off and tiffany and jazmin go in the car with Xavier and tell him everything is okay." Damarcus demands.

I look over at Jamaal and hes taking peoples money. Not saying it was right but it was the life I live now.
"EVERYBODY LEAVE NOW!" Brittany screams pointing her beeda at Jamaal.

Everybody runs outs the restaurant and the people behind the counter run out the back door. We wait for the restaurant to clear out until it's just me, damarcus, brittany, terrel and jamaal. jamaal lets out a small laugh and smirks. he takes off his black hoodie and has a white sleevless t-shirt on. hes so big body.

" you got some nerve messing with my money, ya know." he says in a soft voice. i turn my head to see damarcus and terrel in the corner, they have that 'touch them i dare you' face on. "i mean whats the surprise that we meet again brittany in a mc. Donald's?" he takes one step closer to her and i see terrels eyebrow twitch. "oh who am i kidding-" jamaal runs over to both of us and hugs us at the same time laughing. "i missed yall!" jamaal says. briitany hugs him back but i know better not too. even tho me and damarcus dont have nothing going on i still get the feeling that he would have somthinge wrong with it. 

he lets go of the hug and me and him dap up. "i missed you too brother." i said giving alittle laugh. "you still apart of the TIL?" i ask him. " like i would ever leave?!?!?" he said acting hurt that i asked him  that. " well since you asked me a question i got a question for yall." he said getting kind of serious. "yeah wassup?" brittany ask. "do you know those guys or do i have to blow a bullet in their heads?" he says softly. i look over at them and they look at eachother. 

i see damarcus and terrel coming over here im guessing thier confused. "wassup im damarcus and this is my brother terrel." he says holding his hand out. he shakes it. " i can tell him my own name, im terrel" he says squeezzing jamaals hand. " wow- its nice to meet you-" he says barely getting the words out. 

"terrel you can let go now." brittany says rolling her eyes. he lets go ." woah their buddy you got some grip!"
Jamaal says brushing his hands off.

Jamaal's p.o.v

I look brittany up and down, why did she leave me? I look over at the two men. Terrel is eyeing me down for some reason. Is this her next? I mean Ashley and damarcus are standing pretty close so maybe they have something going on.

I hear my phone go off, it's my brother Sean. "Im sorry I gotta take this." I says hugging Ashley, then brittany alittle longer then I hugged Ashley winking at terrel. I always love to see how far I can go without getting my ass kicked.

He smirks at me and I dap up damarcus and terrel. "Alright no gay stuff but can I have your number?"I ask them both. They start laughing. "Ugh I like this kid." Terrel says to damarcus then gives me his number. I smile at the girls and walk off to take this phone call.

Terrel's p.o.v
" ii kids let's go we cant keep Xavier waiting." I say walking off. We get to the car and I hold the door open for brittany and sit in the back seat with tiffany. " so how did it go?" Jazmin asked. I told her everything and Xavier drove us to the hide out.
