Chapter five

[Chaeyoung's POV]

When I reached the club, I went around and looked for Mina.

But I just can't find her.

I then went to her manager and ask him where is Mina.

"Mina took a leave today." Her manager said and I asked him about Mina's address since I only know her house address but not knowing which floor and which apartment she stays at.

He told me and I thanked him before leaving the club.

I quickly went to her house and went to her apartment.

I rang her doorbell and soon, the door opened.

"Chaeyoung?" She called weakly and I smiled.

"May I come in?" I asked and she step aside for me to enter.

After that, she pass me a slipper to wear while she close the door.

She then put my shoes at the shoe rack before going to the living room.

"What brings you here?" She asked.

"I heard from your manager that you took a leave today. So I decided to come and find you." I said.

"And how did you know my address?" She asked.

"Your manager." I said and she sighed.

"I should get you a drink." Mina said and stood up.

"It's fine. I'm not thirsty." I said.

"You're the guest. I have to serve." She said and was about to walk to the kitchen but she lost her balance.

I quickly stood up and hold onto her.

"Why are you shivering?" I asked and touched her forehead to feel her hot temperature.

"You're having a fever. Did you see doctor?" I asked and she shook her head.

"It's okay... I have some meds at home." She said and I sighed.

"I don't care. I'll bring you to see a doctor now." I said and she grabbed onto my bicep.

"It's fine, Chaeyoung-ah..." She said and I sighed.

"Okay, but I will get you some meds from the pharmacy. Don't move about at home, understand?" I said and she nodded.

I then get her to the couch and sit down while I left the house.

I quickly went to the nearest pharmacy and bought some fever and flu meds for Mina before going back to her house.

When I reached her house, I rang the doorbell and she opened the door.

I then go to the kitchen and pour a glass of water for her.

I pass her the meds and the glass of water.

She eat the meds and drank the water before I took it for wash.

When I turned around, I saw her standing up, walking towards the room.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I want to take my blanket. It's cold." She said and I went to her room.

I took her blanket and came out to the living room.

I opened up the blanket and covered her.

"Just tell me if you need anything." I said and she nodded.

After that, I sat down beside her and turned on the tv.

As I realize that she fallen asleep, I turned the volume of the tv to lower and continue to watch the tv.

But when the show finished, I turned to see if she's still sleeping.

I then smiled upon seeing this cutie sleeping soundly.

'What a fragile girl that has to go through all of this...' I thought and internally sighed.

Just then, she opened her eyes and our eyes met.

I quickly broke the eye contact and faked a cough.

"You're awake. I'll cook some food for you." I said and she sit up straight.

"You know how to cook?" She asked and I nodded proudly.

"Of course." I said and went to the kitchen.

I then took out some ingredients before I start cooking.

After I cooked, she came over and sit down.

"Try it." I said and she took a bite.

"This is nice!" She said and start eating quickly.

I smiled upon seeing her eating like this.

"Eat slowly. See? You even got a stain at the side of your lips." I said and wiped the edge of her lips using a piece of tissue.

After she finished eating, she insisted in washing the dishes so I let her do so.

After that, we went back to the living room and we are watching the tv while having a small chat.

Just then, she talked that no guy dares to date her after knowing her job.

"Even a few I liked also said some bad things about me." Mina said and looked down.

"That's why I isolated from people, mainly guys. Because I'm scared that I might develop feelings for that guy." Mina said.

I then hold her hand and looked straight into her eyes.

"Mina, can you give me a chance to prove myself?" I asked and she widened her eyes in shock.

"W-What?" She muttered after a few seconds.

"I know it's fast. But I can't help it. Each day as I meet you, my feelings for you grow stronger and stronger." I said and she looked away, breaking the eye contact.

"Please Mina... Give me a chance..." I said and she turned back to face me.

"But Chaeyoung, I know that your family are very rich. How are your parents and others going to accept me? A bar girl?" She said and looked down while taking her hand back from my grip.

"No, my parents are not so traditional. They told me that whoever I like, they will accept. And no matter what happen, I will be by your side, taking care of you, protecting you." I said and suddenly, a drop of tear rolled down her beautiful face.

I cupped her cheek and wiped her tear away.

"Don't cry. I don't like to see you cry, it breaks my heart." I said and she smiled.

"How's your decision?" I asked and she slowly nodded.

I smiled and stood up.

"Yes! Finally!" I exclaimed in joy and punched the air happily.

She laughed my action and I looked over.

I then carried her by the bridal style and spin in circles.

"Ya! Chaeyoung-ah! Put me down!" She exclaimed while laughing happily.

I then stopped and put her down.

We stared at each other's eyes and slowly, I leaned closer.

She closed her eyes and I pecked her forehead.

"Pretty." I said and she smiled shyly.

'Finally, you're mine...' I thought and hugged her tightly.
