Stuck with Him (Metal Bat OPM)

Chapter 9

"Okasan, Otosan, your daughter coming to visit today. There's a lot of things happen recently. I... I think I have met a guy... that I like. He is same as you, Okasan, Otosan. And also, I have involved in battle again. It's been a long time. I miss you, Otosan. How you taught me to maintain my speed combat. And of course, I miss you too, Okasan. I start to practise some of your magic casts."

Ai told everything on how she involved in battle, saving people, and how she met the guy that keep playing in her mind. Tears rolling down from her cheeks, can't describe how much she missed her parents. She cleaned up the graves, and placed roses on it. She stood up, waving good bye before she left the memorial garden.

She let a deep breath, and patted the fluffy fox that resting around her neck. "Where do you want to go next?" Asked the fox. Ai thought for a moment, "Do you think he has been discharged?"

"You have his number, right? Call him." Ruby suggested. A sheer of dark red started to appear on her cheeks. "W-Will he answer my call?" She asked while taking out her phone. "Of course!" Ai bit her nails, and searched for his number.

"Will he pick up-! Ah hello?" Ai startled when he picked up the call.

"Hello, Ai. I just thinking about to call you." Metal Bat laughed nervously.

"Oh.. haha. Urm.. are you still in hospital?"

"No. I just been discharged this morning. Wait. Are you on the way to come there?"

"N-No!"

"Great, because I'm at Baskin Robbin, nearby to memorial garden at city M."

"Really? I'm at here too..." Ai started looking around.

"Are you wearing a black leather jacket with boots?" He asked.

Ai began to freak out on how accurate he described. Her eyes wondering around, looking for him, or a signboard of Baskin Robbin. Then, she felt someone tapped her shoulder, and she startled.

"Easy..easy.. I don't want to go back to the hospital." He grunted in pain as Ai twisted his hand. Ai widen her eyes, and her body automatically drawn into that guy. "A-Ai?"

She embraced him, hiding her tomato face. It was Metal Bat. The only person she trusted for now. Then, she felt warm around her body. "Do you miss me that bad?" He teased her, embracing her in his arms. They stayed for a moment, and she broke the hug.

"Urm.. so.. what are you doing here?" He asked. "Visit my parents." She turned to the memorial garden. A sad face displayed on her face, and he noticed it. Then, he took her hand with his. The girl was surprised by the action, but a faint smile plastered on her lip. "Let's go." She dragged him.

"E-Eh where are we going? Baskin Robbin is on that side. Zenko and Aizawa are there as well." He said, and she stopped. She giggled, and rubbed her head. "Sorry. I thought we are going to stand here forever." She said. "Is that a sarcasm?" He asked but only a cute laughed replied his question.
