Ukraine looked up from her game of Uno with Belarus and Kazakhstan as Russia walked through the front door. He was frowning and swirling a half-empty bottle of vodka slowly as he stared at the carpet. She looked behind him, expecting to see their father following him, but he was alone. Kaza leaned back in his chair and looked over his shoulder at him, "Hey Russ, what's wrong?" He asked. Belarus looked up and across the table at him, "Did the cow die?" She asks, sounding a little sad. "Did dad die?" Ukraine adds, "Did you kill dad?" They all ask in unison. Russia rolls his eyes and sits on the floor at the table they're playing on, across from Belarus with Ukraine on his right and Kazakhstan to his left. "No, he passed out drunk in the yard again." Ukraine shrugs and starts dealing out new cards to all four of them.
