Hijacked

Arena

Me and Finnick were left here guarding Beetie until he could put together the wire in the tree before the lightning striked and electrocuted everyone and anything on sand and hidden on the tree lines. Katniss and Johanna have been gone for about 10 minutes now, no signs of danger in the air until Finnick and I hear a scream.

"Katniss!" I yell and rapidly run throughout the woods to save her. I keep running but finnick's trying to hold me back. The adrenaline is so high in me that I let go and scream million times for Katniss, my only goal here is to save her and only her.

No signs of her so far I only see the cut wire along the rocks they must've had stopped here. I hear Johanna screaming for help near the beach and I run as fast as I can to save her. I throw Johanna her ax which I found on the way and 1 cannon goes off.

Enobaria runs off knowing her ally has been killed and I ask Johanna for Katniss. She just grabs my arms and we walk to the cornucopia. We tuck there until we know we are safe but the only person I could think of its Katniss, thats when I see the whole forcefield blow out in pieces.

"What the hell is going on?" Johanna screams as we see pieces of the forcefield fall upon us.

"Johanna we have to find Katniss before they kill us" I say trying to make it to the beach getting out of the cornucopia. Giant metal pieces fall on top of it and a big wave rises when the forcefield falls down. I grabbed Johanna's hand thats when everything goes blank.

When I wake up I find myself in a very bright room my arms tied up to what it seems like a hospital bed, thats when President Snow walks in.

"Mr. Peeta Mellark, its good to see you again, may I ask are you aware of whats happening?" he asks taking a sit besides me.

"Wheres Katniss?" I ask trying to free myself from this bed.

"Oh Mr. Mellark that REBEL of yours is gone and you're gonna help me find her.. I want to make you a deal"

"YOU WON'T TOUCH HER" I scream at him with such anger. What did he mean by rebel? Why am I out of the arena and the games?.

"Mr. Mellark I wanna make a deal, you will do as I say or else you'll say goodbye to Katniss and her little rebel plan" he holds a rose and slowly stands up.

I look at him with such fear and pain I don't want him to hurt Katniss or me I just want to go back to District 12. "So your saying I'll do as you say to keep Katniss alive?

"Yes exactly.." I see him walking out but before he exits the room his last words take up all of the coldness in the room. "Only thing is.. I'm not asking you to do it, you will say and do whatever it takes to stop the useless idea of an uprising" the doors close and I am left here with no lights only darkness upon me.

Maybe he's right I just wanna protect Katniss and keep her alive.
