Chapter 18 - The Mind can take only so much

Y/N = Your Name

* 3rd Person's P.O.V

January 23, 1973

Y/N was packing up her room, She was folding her clothes. Y/N placed them in her suitcase and " I can't believe we're moving" she sighed." Hurry up! I don't get all-day" her evil mother walks in. She pulls out a cigar and lights it. ' I wish that ugly woman was dead' Y/N thought. Mom walks up to Y/N and puffs a smoke on her face. Y/N coughs," Did you pack everything?" Mom asked." Yes! I got everything I need" Y/N nodded." I'm getting the car ready. Grab your bags and head out" she walks out of the room. Mom slams the door shut. She was walking down the hall and bumps into Lucius. " Watch where you're going!" Mom said. She moves around him and Lucius watched her. He had to check on Y/N. Lucius walked up to Y/N's room, knocked on the door and Y/N opened the door. " Hello Lucius, how you doing?" Y/N said. Lucius noticed the suitcase on her bed. He pulls out his notebook and writes. ' What's with the suitcase?' Lucius shows Y/N his notebook." Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot to tell you at breakfast" Y/N said. " I'm moving away" she sighed. Lucius felt his heart aching, " I'm gonna miss you Lucius" Y/N sniffled. She hugs Lucius. Lucius was trying to hold back his tears. He slowly hugs Y/N, " I'll remember you," Y/N said. She went to her suitcase and grabs it.  " Goodbye Lucius" Y/N walks past Lucius and cried. Lucius felt tears coming down his face. He quickly changed his depressed face to an angry devil. Lucius had to do something, he can't let an evil witch-like Y/N's mother take his love away. Lucius runs downstairs. He found Y/N's mother smoking outside. Lucius was mad, ' A witch-like you deserves to burn in hell' he smirked evilly. 

Lucius was holding a bottle of beer, he was walking to his Uncle Tom. Lucius opens the door to see Tom drinking on his bed. Tom has been drinking for a month. He had bottles all over the ground, Lucius walks up to him and " Leave me alone. I'm not in the mood to play" Tom said. Lucius shows him the beer and " I don't understand...why would Jovita do this?" Tom grabs it. Tom drank the bottle, he dropped the bottle as he coughed. Tom looks up at Lucius, " You...." he slowly stands up. " You did this!" he falls to his knees. " You'll pay for this" Tom coughed. He falls to the ground and died. Lucius stared at his lifeless corpse. He remembers about Y/N, you were moving away. Lucius had to stop your mother. An idea pops into his head, Lucius runs out of the room.

* Meanwhile

Y/N was in the car sleeping, she was holding her suitcase. Lucius was right behind the car. He pulls out a wrench from his pocket and started tampering with the car. Lucius looks through the window to see you sleeping. He placed his hand on the window, " Okay that's enough" Lucius heard a voice said. He quickly turns to see Y/N's mother dropping her cigar and stomping on it. Lucius runs out to hide behind a bush. Mom walks towards the car and gets inside. " Wake up sleeping beauty!" Y/N woke up when she heard her mother said. Y/N wakes up and " You sleep, here again, I'll let you sleep on the ground," Mom said. " Yes Mistress" Y/N replied while frowning." I don't know why your father brought us to this hell hole" Mom starts the car. Lucius quickly used his telekinesis on the car.

Y/N felt the car vibrating, Her mother was having trouble starting the car. " What the heck?" she said. The car speeds towards the gates' walls, Mom presses on the brakes and nothing happened. " Stupid car" she kept pressing it. As the car was getting closer to the wall, Y/N covers her eyes and screamed. The car crashes into the wall and The windows broke. Y/N bumped into the chair and got unconscious. Her mother was lying dead on the front seat. Meanwhile, Lucius was hiding behind a bush. ' Finally....' he smirked evilly." What the heck?" Lucius heard a voice said. He ran off, Charles Wagner and Nancy came out of the house. They both saw the gates' walls damaged by the car. " Oh my god!" Nancy said. Charles ran toward the car and saw Y/N's mom dead. He looks inside to see Y/N unconscious, " Y/N!" Charles opens the door. He grabs her out and holds her. " We need to call an ambulance," Nancy said. " I'll call the hospital" Charles carries Y/N inside the manor. Nancy ran back inside as well. Lucius was watching his parents from the window. He felt a strong ache in his heart like someone had just stabbed him. Lucius never wanted to hurt Y/N. He went back to the manor.

* Time Skip

In the hospital, Y/N was laying in bed. Charles, Nancy, and Lucius were right beside her. " Well Mr. Wagner, you're lucky to bring her in time" the doctor walks in. " She didn't have brain trauma but, a few scars on her limbs" he added. " Does she have any guardians to watch her?" the doctor asked. " We'll be her guardians. She'll be taken care of by us" Charles replied. " That poor girl, I wish her father were still alive," Nancy said. " She'll have to stay for a few weeks. I suggest you head home" the doctor said. " Come on Lucius, Say goodbye to Y/N" Nancy grabs Lucius' hand. Charles and Nancy walked out of the room, Lucius took one last look at Y/N. She was resting in her bed, there were Band-Aids her on limbs. ' Y/N.....' Lucius thought.
